Blizzard, please do something. Your product is being ruined.
Please stop people abusing the system; it’s ridiculous I can’t even play this game at 9am before work because of premades. People don’t even play PvP anymore - they just sit in the starting areas and AFK until the next game which is inevitably another premade. You can’t PvP without min/max/bis/e-sports mentality and guess what - that is not the majority of your player base.
Yes, I know its an MMO, yes I know I need to “git gud” or join a premade myself, but guess what? I don’t want to and I don’t have the time.
Please don’t let these groups of players ruin it for everyone else. Classic WoW was the best game I have ever played and I couldn’t wait for it to come back. Yes, Classic has its downfalls and parts of the game have aged.
This is not a plea to change the honor system. In fact, I don’t even care about ranks or rewards, I just want to simply play the game, but am unable to do so due to a horrible and toxic player made problem.
This is honestly a plea to Blizzard to please do something before PvP in WoW Classic is literally just a museum piece and a fond and distant memory.
I really havent been enjoying anything except AV as horde. every WSG and AB i get into is a premade and it feels like im doing RBGs with a yolo group. and that sucks lol
Yeah, having a harsher penalty system for those who are purposely making the game worse for others by not trying to win in BGs would maybe be worthwhile.
I’ve probably done double that on my slow days. (maybe not quite)
Maybe. I’m still learning the honor system, but I think that with so many people home and/or having a lot of time for WoW, there’s also probably a pretty big bump in people who sort of, kind of wanted to rank, but didn’t want to make time, who suddenly have time, and may as well go for rank 10…
Is it that the more people are in the pool, and the fewer of them are pushing rank, the more the caps will decrease, or…?
More people in the pool means bracket sizes are bigger, caps are probably getting lowered because the gear will become less and less appealing as time goes on, and a lot of the harder core players are already done, which will make it easier to rank since caps will likely be lower. One concern is bleeding members from the pool as time goes on however, brackets will likely keep getting smaller unless people are boosting pool sizes.
Ah, yeah, that sort of makes sense… that’s why some people are advocating for making max number of alts and getting them into the ranking pool, or something? (I read somewhere someone saying it only takes like 4 mins per alt, but I didn’t really understand what they meant).
So, if the pool gets smaller, then bracket sizes decrease too, and it doesn’t necessarily mean that with the “hardcore” players finished ranking that it will be that much easier to gain rank… though I suppose it could.
Yeah, I think it makes sense, but not to the extent that I could write out the math for it yet.
uhm I plan on playing both? Alliance warrior is next up for rank 14 once im done on orc. I just cant seem to decide atm whether I wana reroll a new one or continue with the one on pagle
I mean, that’s probably indicative of it being easier now, but … I could imagine some scenarios where 1.5 mil could have been easier to farm than 700k, if other variables have changed.
I’m not claiming that that is the case, or even trying to suggest it! As I’ve said, I’m still learning the honor system, and haven’t worked out the math yet.
There was a time when Alliance were premading AV for 7 minute wins with instant queues… (this is what I’m thinking of).
