To Whom It May Concern:
RE: Lack of Fishing Discoveries / updates
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the recent lack of updates or acknowledgement of fishing as a profession for phase 3. This decision is not only poorly conceived but also a slap in the face to the very community it claims to help.
For phases, me and countless others in this game have relied on fishing as a way of life. It’s not just about recreation; it’s about putting food in bags for raids, supporting local guilds, and passing down a cherished tradition. This dismissal threaten to sever that connection and plunge our community into hardship.
Have those who made these decisions ever cast a line in Azeroth? Have they spoken to the fishermen and women who understand the delicate balance of this ecosystem better than any developer in a distant office?
This dismissal feels like a punishment. They punish players who depend on fishing for their livelihood. They punish players who focus on fishing by not keeping up fishing with the new demands of the season while updating other systems.
We have the perfect opportunity with the new raid being sunken temple to have new fishing content in the swamp of sorrows alongside the nat pagle quest and hitting 300 fishing.
Kind regards,
Fisherman
