So with the lastest patch I cant dare to open the transmog window because the game lags and crashes out… I was not having this issue previously but now with the latest patch I cant do anything transmog related, not even seeing the sets window because that causes the same issue…
Seriously im getting tired of Blizzard just botching patch after patch like theyre a small indie company…

The Quick Disconnect Feature is currently experiencing technical difficulties. Please be patient while Blizzard works out the bugs.

Yeah saw that last night. I have i5-14000k CPU, 64gig RAM, and a 4070 TI card. I can play at max settings without any issues however last night…..
I did a trasmog on one of my characters then saw the CPU usage jump to 98% and WoW using 33gigs of RAM….

Just because they aren’t a small indie company doesn’t mean the developers are any more competent.

I’m not having this particular issue, but I’d like to help if I can.
Can you tell us more about what exactly happens? Do you run any addons that could interfere with it? Did you do something prior to or during it? Did it happen immediately upon opening up the transmog UI?
Also did they overtune the time walking dungeons? It’s a slog now and we all just seem to be doing peanuts for damage.
Try switching from DirectX 12 to DirectX 11. The latest patch switched me from 11 to AutoDetect, which broke transmog.

Well, look at it this way: the Selfie Patch in WoD has finally been relagated to 2nd worst Patch. That could be seen as a positive…

As many have said swapping from DX12 to DX11 fixes the transmog issue for most.
o switch from DirectX 12 to DirectX 11 in World of Warcraft (WoW), you need to modify the game’s settings within the Battle.net launcher. Open the Battle.net app, select WoW, go to Options > Game Settings, and find World of Warcraft. Check the box for “Additional command line arguments” and enter “-d3d11” in the provided field. Then, click “Done” to save the changes. This will force WoW to launch using DirectX 11 instead of the default DirectX 12.

Or you can just open the Options menu in game, choose Graphics and look for the “Graphics API” setting and choose DirectX 11.
