Ret is finally getting looked at and is undergoing several passes to bring it in line. Can we also not neglect the fact that Demo locks are grossly over tuned as well. Yes they got a minor ST damage nerf in the April 11th pass but they still will be over tuned.
Locks in general need their survivability toned down and demo in general needs some further damage balancing. Ultimately the spec is an outlier.
Why is the game so skewed now that you have casters that are literal tanks with mobility tools that they had when the class wasn’t as tanky? This will just become even worse with the CC/crit nerfs. This helps Pet/Dot based classes and hits other specs much harder.
Also in general designing a spec to fill your entire screen with PVE minions, obelisks etc is really unfortunate. Not overly a fan of such game design for PVP. If I wanted to raid I would do just that raid.
