Just got on the 10.2 PTR to check the Evoker set and wow, Blizzard™ really just can’t make a good Evoker set. Like last tier was decent but season 1 was terrible, season 2 was ok, and season 3 just doesn’t scratch any Evoker theme I can even think of. The only somewhat cool thing about season 3 tier set is that the shoulders have LIQUID (why is it liquid, what liquid does Evoker have). And then we also have a robe, as a mail wearer…

Yeah evokers are really getting screwed by sets. but tbh, you cant even see the set in your dragon form so w/e 
Well I usually only play an hour or two within 12 hours so I just use the Atomic Recalibrator so I can actually see my mog, but I’m sure somewhere down the line Blizzard will give us perma visage form

I’d just like a set that isn’t based around dragonrage. Having large emphasis on it makes dev feel like it needs pi to shine. A little worried about the aug set too, but that preservation set looks to be insane to the point where I’m wondering how many times it’ll get nerfed rather then whether it will be.
I dont know…i Kinda like the shoulders, i could build a mog around them…So i am ok with it.
Yea only somewhat good part is the shoulders, I just don’t like that it’s a liquid in them. I have no clue what the liquid is supposed to be, like the ToS mythic set for rogue has a liquid but it looks green/poisony so I can understand it.
Its the Tears of All Evokers out there who never got the Titan Gem to Drop.

IDK, I quite like the shoulders and the chest, too. It’s better than a lot of the other tier designs aside from perhaps Priest, Mage, Rogue, Monk and Shaman. All the plate ones look terrible.

This is the first one I actually really like. I was sad to give up my robes when I moved from Mage to Evoker. With this one I can hide the shoulders/helm and have a nice robe again.
My only sadness is that the two colours I like are from Mythic (which I do not do), and LFR (which is a pain to get). 
heroic gear maxed out via upgrade path will probably still transfer to the mythic appearance.

Yeh, that is actually the easier of the two. It’s the LFR set that’s a pain. Perhaps the catchup gear will turn into that? Winning it in raid is like pulling teeth though.
Idk I honestly care way more that the bonuses themselves don’t suck. Compared to other classes we got a pretty solid set, though I’ll miss the added nuance that this current set has in changing our playstyle between when d-rage is on cd vs off.
Everyone else’s except warrior’s had me impressed.
It feels like they put lower effort into ours because they cannot be seen in the dragon form. The robeless version without the shoulders/helm looks like sweatpants, slippers and a tank-top

As said can only see shoulders and belt in true form so the rest is ugly by design because the devs don’t have cool full sets.
There’s also no point to making the evoker set look cool when your not gonna see 90% of it unless in the butt ugly elf form
