Blizzard took an L when the year has barely begun. Is this an omen for what the year could bring to blizzard entertainment?
Why is there a quota for bad performances anyway???

What’s your definition for barely begun? It’s the 4th week of January.
A lot of companies have this. I’m not saying it’s good, just that it’s not something limited to Blizzard.
They need names so they know who to lay off. I guess this year they wanted to lay off 5% of their employees.
I was thinking the same.
I wonder if they’ll do it before or after Christmas.
It would be nice if you actually said what the L was.
Google is free and so is twitter.
If you make a thread, you should post the information pertinent to that thread. This is utterly common sense. Get real. This information isn’t even on mmo-champion.
Or your post could actually have substance to it…
He doesn’t need no freaking substance! (he’s up to nine replies)
Seriously, when I saw the “L” I thought of The L Word…
Is this a “I quit” post? If so I call shotgun on your gold.
What is exactly is the problem with a standard and knowing where people stand?
Since OP wants to be useless, I’ll be what he should be instead:
Probs this.
I mean…it no-doubt literally says why in the source everyone is getting this information from: Execs think it motivates people. Which would be fine in theory, unless that bit about people losing out on promotions/raises/incentives because of it is true.
The tweet storm he put out a few hours ago is much juicier than wowhead’s article.
Same reason resume are scanned for keywords before they make it to hr. Everything about money hustle culture is the Murican way
No, it’s not. And practices like this are in use around the globe.
Lol i remember back then people said Activision didn’t takeover Blizzard.
What L are you talking about? The NetEase or Tencent L? The L?
