Another issue is arising in BG Blitz

During last night streak of games from 1850-2000, I was seeing quite a few of the same people in the matches back to back. First time that I have seen that in Blitz.

Blitz needs to count towards Vault

It gives great Conquest, but you will cap weekly Conquest in rated content by the time you finish your Vault. So Blitz doesnā€™t fit into the model of weekly chores for combat advantages :man_shrugging:

Yes. It needs some incentives. The people that pvp just to pvp are far outnumbered by the people who pvp in order to gain rewards or some kind of tangible progress.

Iā€™m pretty sure participation will drop significantly because of this. Iā€™ll spam it just because I think itā€™s fun and the pvp itself is enough of a reward for me. But, I also recognize that I am in the minority in that regard.

Iā€™ve literally never lost a brawl and my mmr is like 1300 still LOL

I didnā€™t even think blitz had MMR

Wow! Welcome back.

There is something really strange going on with MMR. It might be tied to number of matches you have played. But, I suspect you have played a lot.

If you check achievements by searching for ā€œblitzā€ you can see how many matches you have played and how many you have won (but up to 25 matches only, sadly).

My warlock is playing 1900+ matches, but has a worse win percentage than some of my other characters. Iā€™ve just played it the most.

Thanks!

Honestly, Iā€™ve probably done like 15 games or so? Not a huge fan of all the powerups. Just feels like Iā€™m going base to base instead of going to fights

Blitz would have been much better with the standard format

Yeah, it can definitely feel that way if the enemy team lacks awareness and doesnā€™t play the objectives well. But, when the enemy team is on the ball most of the objectives going active end up having a fight at them.

But, yesā€¦ actually having fights kind of requires effort from both teams. So, there are often some pretty boring matches because of that.

Yea lol

To each their own. Random bgs have been awesome recently. Had a 122 million healing warsong a couple days ago! ^.^

Was a duo Q game too.

Thatā€™s crazy. :stuck_out_tongue:

Damn, that is a rough game too. Looks like your team was outmatched, but no deaths for you.

Yeah, cause 8 man BGs shouldnā€™t have 5 objectives at a time.

Arathi and DWG need only 3 bases active to encourage actual skirmishes and not CC capping duels

Going to have to agree with this. There needs to be more forced team fights on those maps.

Rough game but beyond fun, I played around leaf at my gy and kept getting meld/drinks and no one even knew I existed. A ā€œHoot and a hollarā€ if you will. Felt like I was in the healer proving grounds again lmao

Finished at like 165k hps overall

IMO the maps should be Lm/BS/Mines and Ruins/Market/Farm.

Make unused Nodes permanent GYs or attach some minor objective to them.

Like Baron Buff in League. If a member of your team gets the buff, itā€™s applied team wide

This is my concern and, well, being a marginal healer in a competitive environment. Without the speed boosts you have to predict and move, has a sort of Art of War feel in regular BGs.

Good seeing you.

Yea, way to many objectives for how many players are in the bg. AB/SS/DWG are horrid

Thatā€™s a good idea and something that Blizzard hasnā€™t done for any of itā€™s BGs. GW2 also has this mechanic on some of their maps.

You just wanna 1 shot me more with reset >:(

Read me like a book :weary:

Those are my favsā€¦ I think they should do 10 with 2 healers, thatā€™s a better ratio than I get than most randoms which are more 1 in 7 or 8.

It seems Disc priest can bite back, though.
