So apparently my last topic was closed cause calling out the obvious bias of gender choices of the front and center characters was not allowed or whatever. But my aim was the same: there’s zero originality going on. It’s basically a replay of Sylvanas, except replaced with the new character who is basically acting out on a tantrum. The narrative energy of the game, too, makes it feel less about war and more about…something not war.

Xal’atath is completely different from Sylvanas.
Firstly, she is well-written.
Secondly, she is not a screaming, raging idiot.
As for the protagonists, Alleria and Anduin are some of the best heroes in all of Warcraft. I can’t wait to see more of Arator in the Voidstorm.

And we don’t know her ultimate objective because it’s kind of the big secret of the trilogy.

So, Alleria almost unknowingly ended existence to save Khadgar with the gamble of shooting the mysterious ultra-mcguffin.

Because it is bad writing. Xal’atath is a completely unsympathetic villain and we’re finished act 1 and we don’t know what she’s doing. That is poor writing. You’re just trolling at this point honestly.
