They said they wanted wow to feel like wow, but the next expansion is going the same direction as DF: Softness, toxic positivity and Anduin talking about his feelings the entire time. Can we get Varian and Garrosh style main characters brought back to life please?

ā¦bringing garrosh back isnāt a bad idea as it would involve a reaction to anduin and thrall, maybe even alleria if we consider rhonin. Might have to write that down for later. 
Cry to Metzen about it then. He had oversight and direction on that cinematic. Sit here whining about āsoftā and youāre on a forum for a damned video game LOL

It is getting abit tiring, however atleast anduin has had some genuine character growth. There isnāt really a single other npc still alive i can say that about in the story.
Even thrall is kinda static. Blizzard story telling is mostly subpar. Hopefully we see some good character development etc in TWW.

As a alliance only player, i have given up on Anduin being a decent character, so much so that i just ignore him.
All he has done since MoP, is wander off and/or cry.

As everyone whose been in a war would tell you, war has nothing to do with the long-term impacts of wanton destruction and death or the weight of the trauma a warrior carries with them from what they see and do.

the ppl complaining about anduin showing emotional distress are probably the same people complaining about how menās mental health issues are ignored by society
edit: this comment was glib because iām angry, but how am i supposed to teach the men in my life that itās ok to ask for help, to not be strong all the time, that itās okay to talk about their pain - when whenever any man does - fictional or not - trolls and knuckledraggers make jokes about it and act like itās a weakness

Iāve seen war vets have the same reaction to their own PTSD and traumatic flashbacks. Donāt like it? Ignore it, otherwise suck it up.

Anduin is getting old though. He does nothing to help his people or himself. All he wants to do is cry and wander off

This was mostly a story moment and after all the times some people called blizz out on lack of development, this is nice. Gamers just arenāt used to it in WoW 'cause of how much of those emotions suddenly popped up in BFA etcā¦

you literally have thrall doing that alot more then anduin, and he literally just went through the events of shadowlands, forced to lead during what he believed to be the end of the world with the legion, and not to mention the stress of the 4th war caused by sylvanas.
its gonna make it rough for few years for a single person, how you think a young adult is gonna feel after all thatā¦?

Itās actually sickening to see people call him āSoftā and āWeakā in this cinematic, and it really shows who the privileged people are who have never had to deal with serious trauma.
