How am I supposed to RP as Ryan Gosling if the DRIVE system is limited to Undermine? It should be available everywhere. The only reason against this that I ever see is that people don’t like using it; my solution to that is to use a different mount.

I think the biggest setback to DRIVE implementation on a larger scale is the collision mechanics behind it. I remember hearing during beta that for a hot minute, collisions would disconnect you from the game.
They found some way around it and implemented that, but I think that’s only specific to Undermine. I imagine collision testing throughout every zone in Azeroth isn’t something they want to sink the man hours into, and that we’ll likely get something else to spice up ground mount travel.
I dream of a Azeroth were I can use DRIVE on my Mechano-Hog.
