So blizzard releasing another classic classic classic launch ?!?? Like why ? How about instead of the 5th classic launch . You focus on retail Wow and launch some new content cause this has been one of the stalest expansion starts ever
All that TWW up to this point has been is what people keep telling Blizzard they want. This is it; this is all there is.
Classic rereleases are just free money on the side for Blizz.

Absolutely not lol. I’m saying instead of releasing classic 5 times invest all those employees , time and resources to retail

Classic keeps a lot of people subbed that wouldn’t normally stay subbed. That added revenue benefits retail, which consumes more resources than classic, as everything needs to be built from scratch.
because some people just like to live in the past and blizzard likes to get paid. It’s not that complicated.

This is me. I would have been gone right after BFA if they hadn’t announced it. I sink way more time into classic then I do retail now. I still find parts of retail fun but not enough to play like I once did, especially after friends have stopped.

The only reason why you make this post is because you are ignorant about the development process of video games. The people maintaining and relaunching new servers for classic are not the people creating actual in-game content, even if you put them on retail it won’t generate more content like you ask for.
If you have 10 people . You use 6 to build a house and 4 to build a another house ? Which house will get built faster ?? The one with 6 unless the 4 others are more officiant .
But have all 10 working on the same house , you will be able to build it faster and better and probs bigger then splitting it across two projects .
Same thing for classic vs retail. We don’t need another classic classic classic classic . We have classic , it’s been updated , bring the classic crew back to work retail for more manpower to put more content out in the current game . Quit living in the past

You have 10 people, 6 to build a house, and 4 selling ice cream, you can eat ice cream while 6 people build a house, but if you don’t want ice cream and put these 4 ice cream vendors on the construction site, the house won’t build itself faster, the ice cream vendors will hurt themselves and slow the builders down.
The people currently maintaining classic CANNOT AND WILL NOT make the retail content you are asking for, in the same way ice cream vendors CANNOT AND WILL NOT be building houses.

A “game dev” isn’t some random guy at a computer able to do literally anything and everything that exists in a game, people have specializations they can work in, can’t do everything.

Blizzard could make new contents, but after two weeks the players will be bored again. Complaining that there is nothing do. Like trying to feed a monster, yet it keeps saying it’s hungry.
