WTH with another nonsense ‘feature’ that can literally send me half way across the map?! What is the BS?! I’m not talking about the Lock exploit, which is also BS, but not nearly as bad as this. Not even sure what the heck is happening. My character is blown a mile away, with no hope of returning to the scene of the crime.
What kind of nonsense is this? After twenty years of playing, I’m ready to quit after experiencing that twice today. I’v had my bad experiences with hackers (or maybe GMs abusing players), but this was obviously something intended by Blizzard, and I want no part of butt holes that allowed that in PVP.
I’m gone if that’s not removed from the game asap. Any recommendations?

I noticed this in the last month or two as well. Randomly flying 100 yards away with no warning is not engaging game play.
I get that these are casual matches but they really need to turn all the extra garbage off like they do in rated. All it does is let the no lifers grief and abuse people who just want to log in and enjoy a few matches a night. This expansion has just been toy abuse, glitches, buff abuse (just in a BG match with a 30million life warrior), etc. Its been one of the worst casual PvP expansions in awhile.

Always carry gliders and use one when you get knocked in the air. You can glide right back into the fight. If glider is on cooldown have a potion of gust ready to go.

The item is called Electric Shock, and can be bought from the PvP vendor in Dornogal for honor.

Thanks, but this is not electric shock. I have always used those PVP items myself. This is beyond any of those items or any of the abilities such as typhoon, etc.
It’s annoying and funny at the same time. Wish they would do away with some of or if not all toys but it is what it is.
Its not the holy or water one either. I tried both of those and they are basically typhoon level.

The ones from df knocked you way farther than typhoon sure its not that?

Bring Warmode consumables. The Web Pull works on vehicles. You can get them jammed in funny places.

I do of course, but that is not helpful in this situation, as I am not very high, and don’t end up on high ground. It’s not like the stampede in Ashran or something. This is designed to be indefensible by shooting you very fast very far away, so that there is no chance to disrupt it or recover.
You can glider them and some classes have counter abilities if you aren’t CCed while in the air. Like shaman gust of wind, blink, shadowstep, evoker racial, goblin racial, monk teleport, charge/leap. Some class/specs have no good answers besides gliders.
It’s a relatively big sacrifice for dps since it puts saltwater potion on a 5 min CD, but of course the knock can achieve a lot more than extra damage depending on the circumstances.
I’m not a fan of the power behind the consumables but at least it’s not quite as terrible as gravitational displacers were. It’s so silly you can grip NPC bosses and vehicles with web pulls. Why blizzard?

Do you have a clip or something you can post to show what’s happening? I thought it was Electric Shock 100% when you first posted but I’m super curious to see this myself now…
Stand on top of IoC workshop, pull siege, instantly destroyed.
Electric shock consumable, about 5 times as potent as a Bursting Shot or High Explosive Trap.
To avoid dying to the consumable play rated where they can’t be used.
They should change these items and super blowbacks to make it so you take no fall damage. Otherwise they are far too powerful. They are silly right now anyway but the dying without a way to really stop it is silly.
