Diablo 4 is like a quasi MMO. Not really the same thing. I have a feeling Odyssey will be in the same boat.
My question is… will we ever see another full blown Blizzard MMO in our life time?

I have probably around 20 years left at minimum. IDK if I can spend the last of them with WoW.
They can barely handle what they got.

D4 aint an MMO lol. No random people group up, only friends do. Everyone treats it like a SP game.
I guess there’s a chance but it’s probably very small…

Any word on the survival game that they were hiring people for last year?

Don’t think the current team is capable of producing a game with the same level of success as the original. Even if Blizzard did produce a new MMO with a new IP, it would not meet player expectations.

I haven’t heard a lot about the survival game supposedly called Odyssey. I’m hoping we hear more about it at Blizzcon this year.

WoW is a theme park MMO. Odyssey sounds more like a Conan Exiled “MMO”. You think grinding is a pain in the butt with WoW…
I just hope they have a central server for player data. It’s a pain joining different servers in Conan Exiles because you have to start at zero with every server.
Starting at zero is fine if they have regular progression resets for everyone, other than that, it sucks.
Well, after getting cursed by Poseidon, the dev team has to sail around the Aegean Sea, so it’s going to be awhile.
