I’m not afraid of being camped. I’m more concerned of the loophole for abuse. I’m going to be the one taking advantage of this grey area. Its a really handy tool for finding enemies you want to get revenge on. And if blizzard leaves this loophole there then okay.
Based on what people responded to this post… it sounds like this is a classic no change scenario. If they’re cool with it so am I. I’ll just keep a trial account handy.

Dark Age of Camelot also had an /anon command that when implemented hid your player name from any /who query. This is not a bizarre feature or request. Maybe you called in sick and don’t want your boss/coworker seeing you online. Maybe your ex-girlfriend is stalking you. Maybe you just want to lay low and enjoy the game on your own.
