Annoying things other players do in group content

for me, the biggest one is having a mage CONTINUALLY hit me with Slow Fall (Or whatever makes you levitate) when its not needed just because they can.

Spamming for summons. Espeicially if there isn’t a warlock in the group.

Players who don’t bother trying to get to the instance portal at all.

I hate them. If I see them; Ima eat em.

  1. Someone other than the Tank pushes forward due to impatience.

  2. Leaving after one wipe

  3. Thinking that going “REEEEEEEE” in the party chat is going to help anything.

  4. Helps to kill a boss, then leaves because they got what they came for, but just leaves us to dry.

  5. Calling other players “noobs” when in things such as battlegrounds, our team is losing, then also leaves. (You know it tends to happen that you wont win every, single, time)

  6. Not letting someone explain the boss or something when someone asked for some info, yes, we all can use google and/or YouTube, but it is not the end of the world if a player asks for help from an actual other player rather than googling everything.

  7. Making the party wipe in a Mythic+ dungeon, then leaving. (Normally happens in PUGS so there is that risk)

This is just some of what I have experienced and have seen others here in the forums and in game mention about annoying things other players do while in group content.

We had a tank two days ago that I told “kill the ironbarks”.
he said we didnt need to. Well if all goes well we dont…but why risk it? Just take a second and kill them now, eh?
Nope…rushes down the ramp and hits Treebeard and sure enough…four ticked off ironbarks come crashing down.
Mighta made it cept for the fact that the healer was clearly struggling…which is the main reason we kill the ironbarks. Some healers just cant keep up with the boss and four of them all slamming the party at once.

The tank seems to feel humiliated. apologizes. I told him dont sweat it. this happens all the time. Lesson learned.
Nope. He bails.
I just dont understand why they do that.
A mistke was made. not the end of the world.
Some of my best times in this game were when we wiped like a dozen times.
Dont quit over it.

Players that spam chat-- Often, they end up drowning out players trying to ask questions or players trying to instruct the group.

Players that spam Toys. And personal fav-- Players that spam flirting in chat or through Emotes.

I feel attacked!

walking into packs of mobs the other four people managed to just walk right on past.

the absolute worst is the transmorpher that does /yell emotes.

Walked out of groups over it.

  • Not going to the instance, expecting a summon.
  • Not helping to summon at the instance.
  • Being in warmode so you can’t help summon.
  • Locks not making rocks.
  • Mages not dropping a table.
  • Using the mass /train emote.
  • Complaining that someone is only doing 20K instead of the properly-simmed 21K DPS.
  • Using being the tank/heals as a threat to the rest of the group.
  • Clearly just not paying attention.
