Adding duel to the death on the hc realms.
They are also talking about seasons right now, and say they are hard at work at a second season they will release more info later this year
And a new Season but they’re not calling it “season of mastery”

Here’s some of the announcements:
HC SERVER CONFIRMED. LATER THIS SUMMER. PTR IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS.
“SOM 2” CONFIRMED, BUT IT WILL NOT BE CALLED “SEASON OF MASTERY.” LATER THIS YEAR.
DUELS TO THE DEATH ON THE ONE HARDCORE SERVER. /MOK’GORAH TO INITIATE IT (POSSIBLY).
Also worth adding that under the HC server, no resurrection under any circumstance. So no appealing a death. Also, blizzard does not want to mess with the hc community rules. So it’s likely those will be optional or perhaps assisted with the add-on.
You know since there separate and they’re doing hc official first and season fresh later I guess I’ll try Hc.
Yeah thinking I’ll try hc as well. But I’d like to see some game configurations possible. Like no questing/limited repairs, etc.
well they said it will be on ptr soon so feel free to use that and voice anything you want to them

I wonder what Hc without all the rules will look like?
I also wonder how many will stay when there is absolutely no appeals.
So far it seems like it’s any death, no matter what, is permanent ghost mode.
No appeals. No resurrections. And that’s it.
Is it bad that I thought something similar as I watched the announcement?
I just like when the deadset naysayers are proven wrong. I will forever cherish the moment when Classic itself was announced and all the people who copy-pasted the “Wall of No” were proven wrong…
Anyway, excited for official server launch! Catch y’all then or on the PTR! 
I think the first thing I’m going to do on ptr is die and see what happens.
Will it perma ghost or perma delete or what?
Fun fact: The day Classic was announced I made a Wall of Yes by reversing everything in the Wall of No. I posted it in every thread of people crying about Classic happening and apparently I went a little far because I caught a brief forum ban and my posts were deleted.

if you wanna go ironman, use the addon. If not just enjoy the HC server and play as you see fit.
I love it. gives players whatever option they want. huge win win
Perma ghost. You can walk around and interact with your guild, friends etc. Mostly useful for moving over GM of a guild or whatever.

Well if everyone entering must be Hc I think they have to create a new server specifically for that.
The one death no appeals is actually what makes this interesting imo. It would be very hard to get to 60 with no appeals, so something worthy of trying.
Calling it now. The hardcore Andy’s will not use the 1 life servers because they want appeals
non rules > appeals, you can use AH, groups for quest, free trade, trade with your main. Is just a new world where you need the help from others, using the addon is playing a single player, personally i don’t like the solo run but thats because BSB is a normal realm so i understand it.
