Every other Blizzard games has a form of loot box you can buy at their shop. Whether it be card packs from hearth stone or literally loot boxes in Overwatch and HOTS. Yet the most time demanding game where the worker base has trouble to keep up does not have loot boxes to enjoy buying? Please add loot boxes in WoW where you can get gold, AP, gear, and rare chance if exclusive pets and mounts. The shop should be a fun experience to enjoy and the process can be use to support the game and esport.

Our loot boxes are our weekly chests and emissaries, go do your dailies son. This is the last game that loot boxes are needed in. Even in heroes and overwatch (except for the super rare hero drop chance in HOTS.) there’s no mechanical advantage added from those loot boxes or what lies within.

None of the loot boxes in HOTS and Overwatch provide any throughput increase, but you’re asking for gold, AP, and gear which isn’t just costmetic - it’s throughput increase. Which is then pure P2W.
So… no.
They already have loot boxes and they’re free. They’re called emissary chests.
Moreover not sure if you’ve been paying attention to reality but there’s a reason loot boxes in games is being outlawed.

Overwatch and hots also has currency in their loot box to buy item of your choice. Loot boxes is there for a working person to keep up and enjoy their game.
Emissary are limited to 1 per day and it is in-game and you can’t buy with it and that why they are called emissary and not loot boxes.
All the art for the class sets they aren’t making have to go somewhere…
