adding the token would defeat what they are trying to do
They are making the token more appealing to people with their decision to not allow us to trade our gold that we earned elsewhere.
-they are not trying to prevent you from buying gold in anniversary, they just want you to buy gold via paying to blizzard shop.
-however this change will cripple the gold sellers and those who was generating gold out of no where when doing double trade in fav values to them.
-also this will stop those who was trading classic/cata gold to retail and converting retail token into balance.

false, there are 2 ways the botters make gold. They sell it directly and they shuffle it to versions with the token to cash it out. It was also easy to farm lots of retail gold and reverse shuffle it

the value for bots in classic farming is way more than in retail.
you can get more $$ worth of gold in som/anni in 1hour of farm than in 1hour of retail as botting.
Soon you can pay your sub with retail/cata gold and get a token’s worth of anniversary gold for only 5 bucks extra. Great deal

Gdkp ban obviously failed and fresh is prolly 80% swipers already.
