Anniversary Realms, more like Bitcoin simulator

Due to Blizzard’s lack of management, testing, and accountability (running theme if I’d say so myself), both Anniversary realms are RIP.

On Jan 16th, with the merge of SoD realms and Anniversary realms in the Alterac Valley battleground for a mere 30minutes, both Anniversary realms have suffered irreversible damage to their economies and are no longer “fresh” nor “Anniversary-like”. The worst part was while real-time damage was occurring, Blizzard had more focus on the public front and were removing alerting posts in real-time rather than addressing the actual damage.

Bot farmers plague the new inflated auction house prices with sweats and casuals alike no longer having control over what was suppose to be a player-driven economy. The realms have been out for less than 90 days!

See for yourself, but as a customer for 20 years I no longer recommend Blizzard for a game service.

There was 0 inflation and impact from the cheap boons being sold, only gold transferred from one group trying to exploit to another group trying to exploit. I suggest getting off pvp if you want a more normal experience, since pvp is where the bots and swipers are.

Lol you have basically no understanding of how an economy works.

You sit there believing that gold was generated during the issue with the Boons.

The economy was not effected at all. But, good job on the obituary for Anniversary Realms. 4/10 for effort.

The boons are about the least damage an economic exploit could make.

No gold was generated, transferred yes, but there was 0 new gold injected into the game via the boons getting resold.

Can people stop being so hyperbolic about it?

Sounds like you’re mad because you got took on the AH.

Go more in depth about what happened to the economies? This will be funny for us all
