when you see something with a price of 10g by vendor sells for ~2g by “many players in trade chat” and so many different names selling them on auction then it must be illegal sells.
if i have no info i would think “someone hacked the game and infiltrated trillion boon”
so to people who bought them cheap! you’ve been scammed because you was greedy, it’s your fault for not realizing that it was a fake items.
What does that have to do with anything I said? Of course they were scammed. They bought an item that is now worthless. But people saying these buyers should be banned are out of their minds.

The bugged AVs were instances in SOD, meaning the honor rewards were highly inflated.
As someone’s who’s done the grind to r14 post-changes, getting 100k in AV a day is possible if you do not have a job or work, and do nothing but AV queue the entire day for 10+ hours. When your honor cap is 418-500k you’re looking at ~full time job levels of playtime weekly in to AV queueing aside from your real life job if you’re planning to just rank in AV.

i don’t think the people who bought boons for 18silver from vendor was not aware of it as a Bug and for that they bought tons of them to exploit on purpose before it get fixed, probably they knew it’s sod boons, and anyway the chat was spammed with info about it.
so people are asking for those abusers to be banned but no one will be banned anyway because blizzard is too lazy to do anything, they didn’t even shutdown the servers to instantly remove the items, they let people keep selling what they exploited.

I ve spent almost hundred on them for future raiding. And that was big part of my wealth. I m broke now.
So you can log off on your char. for a week in order to keep buffs? /sigh people don’t understand the reason boons were implemented and then defend the vanilla server saying “they already made changes to vanilla what’s adding this going to hurt”. People don’t THINK and know the difference between adding something to the game because the players “forced” Blizzard’s hand and for that change to happen and something being “wanted” to be brought into the game that wasn’t needed like dual spec. as a QOL. It’s such a shame of the lack of knowledge people have that are posting on the forums, yet want to steer the game in a direction they know nothing about in how it will affect the game or why changes had to be made in the first place.

crazy… a lot more i could say… but i dont understand how this can be messed up. sure theres more to it than i understand but this kinda stuff shouldnt happen at a company with the money and resources yall have…
thats all any company cares about more. anything to make more money and quality control is out the window. sad, especially with the amount of resources ACTIVISION/blizzard has at their disposal, there is no reason for it whatsoever.
What about the people who bought them off the AH? They didn’t exploit anything they just bought an item on the AH only to have a patch make those useless.
Doubtful blizz is gonna do anything. They should have realistically just shut down servers to patch the issue the moment they found out about it, but they let it go on so the people who exploited early are going to make out with hundreds of gold.
Please just make boons 18s on classic fresh, or better yet, a reusable chrono boon for a fixed price. Welcomed quality of life change for most. 10g for a boon is very pricey phase 2 of classic, or any phase for that matter.
Kaivax. I know there’s probably a lot on your plate. But Black Lotus nodes ARE NOT SPAWNING. I have asked multiple herbalists about their lucky today since the BG update. They have found NOTHING. Hours spent and wasted looking for something that isn’t there is really frusturating.
Aggrend, Kaivax, etc, mistake after mistake after mistake. Yet your company have upped our sub fees in Oceanic region and this is the junk you serve up and continue to serve up. Worst team ever I would say
