those are SOD honor gains. we will not be getting that tomororw.
it’s 4 a.m. in EU → can’t even go to the liquor store buy a drink → BGs crash bad timing…
Way to go blizzard… gg
how does this affect honor and the weekly cap?? not at all? people in AV were getting 700 honor per kill. Guess all is fair?
your forgetting about something called m+? a skill based scaling system? something that classic is completely devoid of… its a bit more than just flashy numbers my man… although its true that if you are bad at the game or just in it “for the adventure and world” your probably not gonna like it.
I have taken time off twice in my life to play wow. 2019 launch where the game broke. Then tonight for this weekend of BG. I know you’re getting the doomer echo chamber, but man back-to-back time off to get canned. This hurts blizzard.
Servers breaking on major updates is the real Vanilla experience.
The most I got was 650, but I was a fresh 60 mage
What about these examples?
- I was really looking forward to making a steak tonight but the grocery store ran out because they didn’t properly forecast the demand for the steak, and this has happened on multiple occasions.
- I went to get my car serviced and the dealership said they replaced my rear RHS brake light for $10 but whenever I braked I could see red light reflecting from that side of the car so I wonder if they actually did the work or not.
- I went to the dentist and they said they found a cavity even though I take good care of my teeth, how do I know they didn’t just put crap on my teeth for no reason (or worse, drill into my enamel damaging it and therefore requiring a filling – believe it or not there is a dentist not far from me that has done this in the past, I’ve heard it said by multiple people)?
My point here is that it shouldn’t matter what service is being delivered, if people are paid to do a job they should do it with integrity, honesty and with their absolute best effort and NOT try to make other people’s lives worse. It might seem like no big deal because it’s just a game but the attitude shown is the same attitude shown with these other examples, an attitude of not giving a damn about other human beings.
The standard we walk past is the standard we accept and IMO standards are falling absolutely everywhere.
Because they didn’t know? Blizz isn’t banning anyone for buying off the AH.
Now, the people who sold them 100% knew what they were doing. Maybe bans for that, but probably not. Mostly because it would be too much work. They might not even lose the gold they made.
So you are hurting everyone who bought the boons, but rewarding the people who cashed in for it? LOL
Yes bro, nothing new.
Could of been a big Blizzard W and just make the chronoboons cost 20s. Now instead invalidated a bunch of boons and kept the crappy 10g price. What is the point of holding on to this 10g price… Big L
you just need to leave it, and put 20s boon in wow classic. dont piss off a whole community. let us have our 20s to save time and enjoy the game instead of starving for gold
Extremely poorly handled by Blizzard. This is a 20 year old game and this is not the first time you have launched a new server. Not fixing it tonight is ridiculous.
Where is the pride in your work? Why are people not working to fix it today/tonight? We were told we would have battlegrounds tonight, I moved personal stuff around to be able to grind a lot of AVs tonight. Compensation should be made for our time and honor lost…
Not to mention the chronoboon disaster! Messing up the entire economy and the people who made 100s (if not 1000s) of gold selling them won’t lose their gold. Incredible to see a company with this much prestige drop the ball so hard.
The Blizzard quality control has been absolutely atrocious ever since Activision took over. Anyone that plays any other game title controlled by Activision “Call of Duty Warzone” knows how little they value their community despite the damage that has been done.
You can choose to forget this ever happened and move on, or remain highly disappointed and pretend Blizzard actually cares.
I made thousands
Maybe they think with that price players won’t bother using them. If that’s the case they once again show they don’t understand the players.
It could be 1000 gold and players will pay it. They’ll just buy gold to afford it.
Don’t understand Blizzard hardline stance on this. Its not like its some vanilla item.
The problem is that it feels like they are basing the 10g cost on everyone making mages and gold grinding nonstop. For your average player, needing 10-50g every week on chronoboons + consumable costs is kind of whack.
