Blizzard, the pace is very wild with Anniversary Classic server. Some like it, some are uncertain about it.
Some of us mostly play for Vanilla fresh. But being force to ditch everything once again is a worry me and some individuals I’ve spoke to, have going on in our mind.
One character, is a lot of time. But the population makes it a lot easier to play. While leveling on Era is a lonely time. Not hate to Era. But it’d be cool to bring my Anniversary character added to my Era roster.
I’m not against playing TBC, it’s in fact desired. But we’re unable to have any confirmation or stance about it. Vanilla has it charm but there’s already 5 on going versions of it.
I speak for myself alone on the forums. But I believe there are many players who would rally to my statement. So please, if anyone at Blizzard or the Community Council could try to help us with this, it’d be great appreciated!
Dual spec with the current pace is kind of necessary. I’m ok to lose access to that to be honest. As I understand the condition for keeping my classic character.
What’s your deal today Eyr? Lack of sleep or something? I’m usually putting up with you but if you’re to act like that, we’re not going to be very friendly anymore.
We’re the same player base. You mixing up everyone in the pot is bad. There’s the fresh enjoyers and there’s people who just enjoy a bigger player base.
You know as well as I do playing Era is difficult and getting anything is very time consuming because obtaining help is hard because of the lower population.
Even you, were not able to reply when I asked yesterday if you’d help. Stop projecting, it’s not good.
The game is an MMO RPG, not me trying to constantly cheese the game so I can bypass the need of having another player at my side.
how funny would it be if era was completely deleted and the anniversary realms become the new era after progressing to tbc, and they have to relevel through a completely progressed server where most people transferred off from.
I would not really want to punish everyone to be honest. Cezar is pretty chill and is another preacher of Era. Eyr is not so bad but clearly have mood moments.
People generally do not want your anniversary characters to transfer to era. It is seen as very disruptive to those that consider era their long-term home.
Sounds like there’s a need of a consensus or survey. X saying Y said Z from both sides is nothing really progressing the cause. I’m not oppose to play Era, I am even as of right now, there’s chinese players sending me whispers from Whitemane constantly though so I might end up rerolling Mankrik cluster…
But seeing how Era population was affected once things moved to TBC, it’s roughly 15% of first Classic player base that remained Era. So I don’t think Anniversary players would be so numerous.
Not really. Have you been on these forums? Era players have been quite vocal about this. Just because you choose to ignore them doesn’t mean they don’t exist. Their voices matter because it’s their community you’re looking to join—yet you’re doing so without acknowledging or respecting the existing player base that built and maintains that community.
Nope. Maybe try listening to the era players that have already stated they do not want you to transfer you anniversary characters to their realms?
Way to show that you’re acting in good faith here by insulting the very realms and players you wish to play with. I can tell you right now, you would likely not be a good fit for era anyway.
I quit the anniversary realms around 37 because it was an overpopulated mess.
I’ve been playing over on era and it’s been fine. It takes longer to get groups but you definitely see people all over (without waiting for an hour for respawns for one quest). It’s not as dead as people make it sound. Plus the players there want to be there and seem generally friendlier than they are on anniversary.
On the note of opposition to transferring to era, were people upset when SoM characters could transfer to era?
