Just wanted to say that anniversary is absolutely in a great spot.
The removal of gdkp has made the game so much more enjoyable for people that actually play the game.

“I lost my cut in a GDKP once because I was so bad”.
That’s what you sound like.
Black Lotus.
I’ve been enjoying it, heavily. While every one complains about GDKPs? I’m having fun.
I think its mostly that people are starting to come back after trying MoP. TBC is getting closer and MoP isnt for everyone.
Yeah. been rolling with my balance druid on anni for a bit. So many people still leveling. Really happy to see the world alive after a 6 month hiatus from classic wow to play pvp on retail/mop.
Hope classic wow never dies.
Uh…
Uh…
Are ya talking about the bots?
Is this frostfire or the Ripsod gold seller guy?
Eh, for those who actually play the game, instead of boosting, we tend to interact with a lot of other players who actually play the game. That’s how it works.
Bots aren’t making groups and having friendly conversations…so no, I’m not talking about bots. I’m talking about the actual people playing the game.
I put bots, gdkp buyers/sellers and gold buyers/sellers all in the same bucket of not playing the game. Those folks are basically like drug addicts and dealers. The scum of a society
you’re pretty thick eh. people in GDKPs were still playing the game, even people on the lower gear spectrum (which would be the same people in current pugs BTW)
farming gold in the open world is nearly impossible with the bots and squeezing everyone on to 3 layers, but consumes for raids are through the roof.
GDKP would solve both problems and as we already can clearly see that Banning GDKP did nothting to stop RMT then you dont have to worry about making RMT worse.
Gdkp ruins the social aspect of the game.
It ruins the adventure…just go play retail if all you care about is getting fast and easy loot.
I did both GDKPS (on my alts) and Guild Raids (on my Main) both were very fun social experiences and I got to play with a bunch of new people on the server I wouldnt have played with otherwise in the GDKP.
All this and I got to do what I wanted which was raid on my alts. You either never took part in a gdkp or were in a bad guild that lost people to a gdkp which would have happened anyways they just would have joined another guild instead
Buying gold does that. Where are the bots at? where they sell the gold to the buyers who dont play excluding the 1 - 2 hrs spent clearing the raids for the week.
1-2 hours spent in gdkp*
Yeah, my only gripe for gdkp was that i wasnt the best at gold farming. And alot of times people are looking for buyers which at that point i dont have good gear cause i cant gdkp cause im not a buyer nor a pumper… i just didnt like the feeling of being gatekept. I dont mind gdkp but i def prefer SR raids so items get fairly rolled
You cant GDKP on anniversary last I checked.
Classic Era by contrast uses ALL loot systems, you the player have the freedom to make that choice for yourself. Mommy blizz not holding your hand on Era.
Whats your point those same people who would be running in GDKPS are still just buying gold for consumes and raid logging anyways
They play for longer because they aren’t geared out so fast.
The game is healthier without gdkp
And it’s dead…8 times as many active raiders in anniversary
You are delusional lol. we will have to agree to disagree I suppose
Go play retail if you want fast and easy gear. They are constantly giving it away there for simple weekly quests and a few dungeon completions
The gear you earn should mean you went through an endeavor to obtain it.
