Anniversary Event is horrid

  • Time-gated event currency

  • Time-gated questline (doesnt release until the 28th for some reason)

  • PvP is horrid in the zone, good luck mounting when ur in combat
    (To those who say turn off warmode, there is guards there to prevent it clearly, the guards need to be scaled properly.)

  • Really nothing to do.

  • Xp-buff doesnt scale with anniversary (14th annivers was 14%, 15th 15% etc)

*Lackluster rewards, all the hype is the tier 2 set thats gated.

Please feel free to discuss below, or add some things I missed.

Quick math here.

You have 10% baseline at all times

You can do a quest to get another 10%

10 + 10 = 20

20th anniversary.

Youre right the events horrible. They

  • made hunters busted (again)
  • made frost mages even more miserable to fight (again)
  • made ele oppenheimer you (again)
  • made rogues busted and unkillable (again)
  • nerfed warrior to absolute irrelevancy (again)

Cause we cant play the game at all when we vs a frost mage.
There is not a bigger counter than frost mage into warrior.

Came here to say this. It’s not just warriors getting tired of 3-shotting hunters and permasnaring burst mages with no cast bars.

30% off, baby. I bought 6. Dragon priest, lock, warrior, and mage (too many humans. This is a fantasy game and I dont wanna deal with knockbacks in pve!)

I only want the races where the wings can glow. UP from disc and Apotheosis from holy give the wings a golden glow and dark ascension gives a shadowy purple glow. Looks really nice. Idk if any of the other classes have anything cool

Warrior hit sounds have the same bug as kultiran where they don’t play, non evoker dracthhr emotes don’t play a sound, and combat shouts only have a mail voice

That’s the ONLY class in the game that a Dracthyr Warrior would struggle to have 100% uptime on. I do not feel bad for you at all.

I like the mini events. Story time is just comfy witj crowd participation. Mountmania also very cool. Havent really done the others because I soent hour and half in korraks revenge. Guards could be stronger yes.

My main gripe with Dracthyr is that they’re always dragons on the login screen, even if you keep yours perma-Visage. Ugly…

Well, and that they snubbed Evokers hard by allowing all other Dracthyr to stay in Visage, but not Evokers, despite the fact they been asking for it since DF beta. That’s just spiteful.

You’re lucky they don’t do another million gnome march to protest not being A tier+ for like 6 whole weeks.

my monk has 19 % from the anniversary item + the 10 % from quest, 15 % from warmode and 25 % from warband right now

Isn’t the 2nd 10% xp, the one granted from the quest, only good for 12 hours?
