Yep, this is a great event. Reminds me of 20 years ago. Waiting in 10,000 player login ques to access the game, get kicked out, wait in a que again for anothe 30 mins. Exciting times.
When all these event are basically in the game already and you can do them anytime you want to, you can not say with a straight face this is a good event.

Like what? Are the weekly activities from Dorn not a natural gameplay? Full of bugs and exploits? Many has 35 to 45 tokens now and you are still stucked from bugs?
More money from Mount? You have an option to disregard it. But if you look at how we got Longboi mount from the past, it would cost you hours, weeks, months of gold grind… more than 20+ WoW Tokens worth and you can have it now way simpler and cheaper. And the best thing is… you get a chance to get it as we thought we will never get something like it ever again in our WoW lifetime.
Keep crying, whiner.
If this is a chore and not fun for you, you must be in a wrong game. Why not play a game you like? Stop banging your head to a game you despise.

Yeah I wasn’t joking when I said I thought it seemed boring. I did try to go out and have fun with it with the Codex of Chromie which was a fun few minutes. Did the raid in LFR, went and did many of the world bosses once. And did the chievs for the cool mount.
But ehhh it isn’t wild and crazy fun like it could have been. But at least we get some cool toys and what not so appreciate the effort put in.
Could have literally altered time in the zones, pulled Deathwing out from the dead roaming around, brought back lich king raid with Deathwing, N’Zoth, Kil’Jaeden, Rag, and more but noooooo Padgarre is a dumb dumb face. Murloc races, be an NPC for a day, or whatever man! Welcome back to the machine? Twitch/Youtube celebrity VIP section with special VIP treatment for them only (just to mess with the community)

My issue is that you can tell they pulled all resources from the game to do this event. The expansion was left half done on the hero talent side. They are trying to correct it and it is only getting worse. The game is broke in many areas. But, they will be able to sell a mount and the meeting will be just great. I hope red shirt guy shows up to the anniversary speech.

Raid was a blast, new sets are nice. Event’s here til literally January so I’m not fussed about “grinding” anything. Offering all the old rewards is also good.
My issue is that I’m not good enough to raid, so because most of the currency is from the skill/group stuff, I’m not going to see enough tokens to buy anything.
If you ARE good enough to raid, I don’t know why you’re complaining about chores. They don’t give many tokens anyway. Just do the raid and the timewalking.

You get 8 tokens from LFR dagran, 3? Tokens from LFR ansurek. (don’t need to join a raid group or properly raid for those). I don’t know where all my tokens came from but I’m sitting on 40 now, and it’s all weekly and going to last til January.

this is my problem with it. the trickle of currency is to slow.

There’s an achievement that buffs your bronze token gains once you get your first 100, also the event will be ramping up with time.
Also it’s not THAT much of a grind lol. You never played vanilla or the older expansions n it shows.
To be clear it doesn’t just buff them, it makes them grindable with repeatable content.

Every activity seems to require sitting in a queue for 20-30 minutes. No thanks.
That’s fine, it’s not like anyone has to do any of this. I won’t be doing it, but it’d be weird to get down on anyone who wants to.

I’m not going into those group things. I will just get kicked. I have been scrounging for tokens when they are available on WQs and I have I think 11. If I don’t have 11, I will today because the radiant cache quest gives one.
If I could get to that point I might be okay but I don’t think I can, without group content.
