So you gave the ‘Invitation from the Timewalkers’ in the mail inside the gift package ONLY to the very first toon we logged on during this event. You did not however take into account the possibility that we might log on a sub 30 toon FIRST and therefor be unable to complete the quest nor receive ANY additional invitations on our other toons; not even our max level 50s or mains.
This is a quest/anniversary event breaking bug and needs to be addressed immediately. Time is running out.
Also, also I am unable to queue for Korrak’s on ANY of my toons. This includes 50s, lowbies, AND toons who did this event last year.
Not satisfied with this event. Not with the rewards and not with the bugs which prevent me from doing both aspects of the 2020 anniversary event. So much for 16 years of WoW
sad that u haves the bug , i do not have the bug , no problem on my competer , is u competer set up difrent , can u un lock if u log out all u competer then log back in , ?
To be fair, most arbitrary years like 8,9,11,16 and so on don’t have new stuff. It’s usually for the big ones like 10 and 15. Idk about the bugs tho, I have none of them.
I’m not asking for new stuff. I enjoy ALL the old stuff. I expect the event to be ironed out. That’s all I want.
PARTICULARLY I expect Blizz to be able to handle OLD CONTENT with quality assurance. This event is time gated. It will be going away this month. I hope we don’t wait all month with these bugs ongoing…
Am I being unreasonable? Maybe I’m being unreasonable. Someone let me know if I’m expecting too much. Can blizz not handle Lord Kazzak and his minimal pixels anymore?
Not sure if this is also a bug or not, but you cannot accept the quest from the gift if you are level 1-29 at all. The dragon at the entrance to the cavern of time also wont fly anyone down who is 1-14.
The vendors down there, the celebration, the lore daily quest are for all levels I assumed, but good luck knowing where it is without the gifts quest saying, " Hey this year it is in the middle of nowhere instead of your main city like it was for most of the anniversaries. "
Thats actually what I was referring to and what happened in my case. I’m just screwed additionally because now for some reason my level 20 is the only toon to have received the invitation at all and that item now sits useless in my bags. All my other toons gift packages LACK the invitation entirely …
It might be a bug but more than likely the level 30 requirement is intended. Which is utterly ridiculous. All other classic world content can be done at level 10. Why not this as well? It makes zero sense at all… please change.
Yea, that sounds way worse. I was at least able to get the invitation on all my alts. First one I happened to log into was level 33. I had to log off before I could look at where I needed to go. Came back later on a level 23, opened my gift, got the letter, but says level it to low. I had no idea where I needed to go. The lore NPC for the daily wasn’t where I remember him to always be in orgrimmar. Had to log back into my 33 to figure things out.
Honestly rather have that daily NPC in the main city, or make the area where it is now considered a rested area. I bug reported the low level thing in game, hopefully someone will look into it, unlike the forums.
I logged into five toons, and this is the order, their level, and what they got:
Level 50, no invite.
Level 50, got invite.
Level 21, got invite (can’t use it).
Level 21, got invite (can’t use it).
Level 50, no invite.
So that’s 2 for 2 on the low levels that can’t use it (my two faction bankers). But of the three level 50’s, only the second one got the invite (a horde toon), the other two missed out apparently (one horde toon and one alliance toon).
I got the quest on all but one toon. All are lvl 50, some are new most are old. Wasn’t even the new toon that got left out. Todays invasion quest in Dustvar was stupidly bugged too. In one the quest item was simply not there. Getting on the ship was fun too, many fell to their death because the when the gryphon dropped them they fell though the boat to the ground below.
So in conclusion (so far,as I have more I haven’t logged onto yet), my low level alts who can’t use the item gets the invitation 100% and the ones who could use it are not getting it.
Same here. I was surprised that I got no invite on the fist 50 char but as I logged on the 2nd one that one did. Do we even get anything from the quest itself? I thought it was just a breadcrumb to chromie.
It was in CoT last year. And the quest is what leads you to there.
Why they limited it to higher levels, though… I have no idea. Seems dumb.
Except it’s not. Some people got it on some characters, but not all. Others, only on one. I’ve gotten it on all characters. Which is what we got every single year: a quest on every character.
