Anniversary, BG Queue Changes

In the spirit of Anniversary and all the changes thus far. Why haven’t we? And can we? See changes to PvP queuing particularly, BG queues. So, that you can queue BG from anywhere instead having to go to a Major City and return to your same position just like future expansions.

Add in RDF too along with it.

BG queues!

For the health of PvP in Classic World of Warcraft; enabling the ability to queue Battlegrounds and Arena Skirms from out side of major cities would promote dueling while waiting for queues, giving the PvP community a place to meet and practice while farming gear.

Giving a better chance to meet like minded and equally skilled partners to queue Rated Arena matches.

Would be nice to be able to do things out in the world, questing, farming, etc. while queueing.

Not sure if sarcasm, but I’ll take the bait.
Yes.

I am a big fan of RDF.

Let me farm stuff in the open world while queueing for a dungeon.

You can already do this with the current LFG interface.

Hope that helps!

No, you cannot get instant-teleports to dungeons. Go back to retail if you want that.

In case you’re confused, RDF started in Wrath.

It’s not a retail feature.

Another classic andy complaining about a change blizzard made in a future version yet won’t go play that version and instead chooses to come to the version without it and complain.

Welp, lets use your logic kiddo.
In that case, you should have to travel to the portal in ashenvale/arathi/hillsbrad to queue for each BG too.
Enjoy.
NO?
Man, sit down.

That sounds horrifying.

That was removed well before 2.4.3 so I’m not sure what that means.

After a quick history dive they were added in patch 1.6 to all major cities making classic based off 1.12 and TBC based of 2.4 already solving what u posted. So nothing you said was even relevant since I am playing a version of the game that fixed the problem you described

Just go sit down.

You seem upset that I have offered a solution. That being go play the version of the game that has these solutions. When told my logic was wrong because a version of the game we aren’t playing had an entirely different issue that was already solved I pointed it out. I understand it’s frustrating when ur wrong, but it’s ok.

Well, the BG change happened in OG vanilla, which is NOT a future version, and just so happens to be the exact same function. You’re not running to the portal to queue for a BG, it’s in a major city.
It’s literally just one-step further to let you actually play the game while you wait for a BG queue.
If you meant what you say, then you’d want the BG queues from major cities reverted to make your lazy self walk all the way to those locations to queue for BGs, otherwise you need to just shut your trap, because it’s the same thing.
“It’s not classic to play the game while you wait for BGs to pop”… Dude, find a couch.
Go play tank warlock some more in your failed experiment that was SoD… weirdo

We are not playing that version. That version was 1.6. classic is 1.12 and TBC is 2.4 you can’t be that dense but apparently you are. Go wrath if u want bg q from anywhere.

Cool story.
So either your argument is that it’s the wrong version of the game…
OR… It’s not “classic” to want THIS version of the game to be where BGs can be queued from anywhere

I’m confused as to which argument you’re making, because it’s reads as both, as the version of CLASSIC where BGs are queued from anywhere doesn’t exist, as wotlk currently does not exist.
WHAT IS YOUR ARGUMENT?
There is literally no good argument against BGs being queued from anywhere, this hurts nobody and only helps everyone.
You’re only being a contrarian.

Bro what. U made an argument that classic 2.4 should have features of pre 1.6 because you want features of 3.2. like what are you yapping about. Patch 2.4 did have battle masters in the city patch 1.12 did have battlemasters in the city. Both classic vanilla and classic TBC are based off those versions. So it is the wrong version of the game to want a wrath change in vanilla or TBC classic. Mop is out RN and has that feature as well as many private servers. Because you arnt smart enough to understand how patch numbers work isn’t an issue in my argument. The feature you want isn’t in patch 2.4 it’s in 3.2 so play a version of the game post 3.2. it’s that simple.

Tell me how I want something that’s pre 1.6 when it’s not.

How is BG queues anywhere something from pre1.6? Go on?
I was comparing the two clown boy.
Get some comprehension lessons before you tell someone else they’re yapping.

It doesn’t matter how patch numbers work, what matters is that they’ve already changed the game in so many ways that it won’t matter in the slightest if they add it.
You’re just crying.
