Usually npcs ignore CC. So why do the archers in the Horde AV towers blatantly shoot cc’d targets?
AV clearly favours Alliance!
I know NPCs will ignore CC in retail, but I’m not actually sure if that’s the case in Classic. This is probably something worth a test… though I’m honestly not sure where. Maybe an escort quest somewhere? You could try letting the NPC beat on something, then sheep it and see if they break it or go find something else to fight.

I’m talking about AV specifically and I’m sure it probably happens on the Alliance side too. I just had a healer cc’d under one of the Horde towers (I was alone with him and an enemy rogue) and the archers just start blasting my sheep and break it.

Is that true? I’m genuinely not sure. As I said, it is in retail but I’m not sure if it is in Classic, nor if it ever was. While the behaviour certainly could be different between AV and every other one, that seems unlikely.
Keep in mind that if they both break CC it doesn’t mean that it was never like that and there’s a bug, it’s just one step along the way. Just trying to gather information to establish how things should work
