Possibly the most boring race ever. Even Jinyu seemed to have more personality. The unshackled make them look like throwaway “oh I suppose we better write a counterpart to the Horde side guys” I just can’t stand them. “Azshara is bad, we must stop her” No s*** sherlock.

To be fair, this statement could apply to virtually anything the Alliance ever gets.

Yeah but I bet their voices aren’t half as annoying. I’m 99% sure the VA’s were forced to wear nose plugs and speak as obnoxiously as they could.
Actually they seem to use the same voice actors as the Uldum accord.

If they were going to be an allied race they would’ve been one already. People datamined the Vulpera player only animations long before Blizzard announced the race. And Blizzard said “oh thats just what we do with all races” until they were an allied race.

If that were the case I don’t know why the toy we get from the ankoans would make us look like them. Seems like if they were going to be playable we wouldn’t need that.
One of them has such a monotonous absolutely boring voice I never ever choose them as my daily tag along. Can’t remember which.
With that kind of attitude the same could be said about even the most brilliantly designed NPCs in a rated T for teen game.

they give the alliance one thought, and just go with it without considering any other options. first idea? that’s all we get.

Another thinly veiled Alliance whine thread. But this time it’s actually kinda true cause the Ankoan are boring.
I mean…Neri is the only thing interesting about the Unshackled. Without her, they’d just be another generic “let’s go help the underdogs” group as well.

One interesting thing I noticed was playing through the Unshackled I used the Ankoan mount at one point and Neri made a comment along the the lines of “Woah! You’ve got to be pretty brave to use that thing around here.” Paraphrasing since it’s been a while.
I noticed no such banter from the Ankoan. Then again they’d need a personality for that.
