Animated Trees/plants, Shoreline waves. When?

Would add tot he immersion to see branches moving in the wind and water crashing against the shoreline, etc.

It’s overdue, yes.

“It’ll cost you a raid tier.”

That’s always Ion’s excuse. Too much work. They don’t really like working. It’s why we don’t have player housing or dyable gear yet.

I wouldn’t hold your breath on it.

Wind’s howling.

Looks so good

Waves were added way back in Pandaria on the isle of Thunder. No idea why they abandoned that technique, looked pretty good back then.

That looks awful. I hope WoW never takes that direction with its graphics.

Did you just call The Witcher 3 awful?

I think they meant the asset and art style is awful for WoW not the game itself.

Yeah the art looks terrible. The game may be great, but they sacrificed a lot of quality to get that movement, and it doesn’t even look realistic.

This isn’t about art style… its more about animation. Using WoW art/color pallet with movement …

Housing is one thing, but it’s crazy to me that we don’t have dyeable gear yet after 20 years, when other games have it lol. Probably just a way for them to artificially elongate playtime by making people farm transmogs/recolored armor/weapons.

Because building a car is easier than trying to repair one that’s 18 years old while it is moving.

I don’t want to risk the FPS.

I really like the ambient sounds of nature, though. Would love to see that in WoW.

Ambient sound has birds, nature, etc. but you need to turn it up to hear it.

Ion is just the mouthpiece for corporate tbh, a bunch of times he’s said stuff that the devs didn’t stick to

Hmm…
Thank you.
