Why is Anima distributed through items? just to clutter my bags? I know Blizzard has mastered the art of creating currencies in game, why is this not just currency? it seems purposely designed to be just more annoying than it should be.
Because they didn’t learn their Legion Lesson.
Probably so you have to stop…hearth to either Oribos and fly to your sanctum or hearth to your sanctum and fly to Oribos.
Again I find myself thinking that 2/3 of this xpac is time gating.
Because that one underpaid intern working at Blizzard worked really hard on that deposit button and by god you are gonna use it.
that’s not even time gating, that’s time wasting.
It makes the world feel bigger!!!
They know what is time wasting more than you
RP reasons. You’re collecting items that have anima in them to take back to your Covenant and add to their reserves.
But I think they should be generic anima items that all stack in one slot.
I promise you the real reason is not RP, RP players are cared about even less than PvPers, ffs you can’t even properly RP with out at least 10 addons.
I promise you that the RPG is using an RPG element that makes logical sense with the storyline.
And I fail to see what people RPing has to do with what we’re talking about.
don’t get me wrong that is great excuse, but I wasn’t asking for excuse, I was looking for the reason.
I gave you the reason. You’re just being insulting at this point, because you don’t like the answer.
you didn’t though, you don’t work for blizzard so you can’t, nor is that even a plausible enough excuse to pass as a reasonable explanation to the real reason.
- You’re being ridiculous. You already know Blizz doesn’t post here. So you knew right from the start that no Blizz employee was answering you.
- If you didn’t pay attention to the storyline to know this is exactly what they asked of us and exactly what the story says we’re doing, then that’s a you problem.
You’re the one with the dismissive, condescending attitude here, who doesn’t know what you’re talking about.
Enjoy your outrage trolling. I guess I’m putting you back on ignore, since you can’t act like a mature adult.
anima is the life force of all living thing, which makes since why i have to give a book to a weird tree monster to gain 35 of it right?
You were really shocked when you scooped up your Anima-in-a-Bottle and it didn’t magically teleport back to your covenant?
It’s fine how it is, it makes sense that we’re gathering these anima rich objects/items for our chosen Covenant allies to stem the drought however we can.
why is anima in a book, a scroll, a bottle, etc? what you say doesn’t work either, the vampire dude released anima to the maw. if what you’re saying makes sense the jailor has to come right click over and over and take it back to his lil tower. anima can’t flow with your explanation.
You have to look at it from a Blizzard designer’s perspective. People liked having to click on items in Legion because it was tactile and felt more meaningful than filling up another bar in BfA. So SL tries to find a happy medium of giving you a button to click because that feels better than passively boosting a bar.

To waste more time trucking it back to your base to deposit. Surprised there isn’t a mini game of slowly inserting each piece with its own animation.
As someone with a terrible hoarding problem in this game, anima really eats at my precious bag space. That’s it’s biggest crime.
Blizzard loves doing this kind of thing and it’s pretty weird.
