Anima Drops in Raids

Hello.

Nowadays Shadowlands is old content mean for farming mogs and stuff like that.

I thin it would make great sense that the anima items are dropped from al difficulties in all raids and not just the first one you do in a week.

Thanks.

Just do a loop of zerith mortis. That’s where all the anima is.

3 outdoor world bosses every week. Antros, covenant zone, and the Maw is 1500 weekly.

Better to do a Raid in 15 minutes and get 2200+.

Spend 1 hour to do it 4 times and get 8800+.

Maybe they should just cut all anima costs in Shadowlands by 50% or more.

It’s old content for just aesthetics. I see no reason why all the grind needs to remain.

Orrrrr do both?

Blizzard won’t do it most likely. It’s a monetary investment they made creating all of that content and they can still profit from it. Plenty of people are “still” grinding not only shadowlands but every other expansion that has some sort of grind that exists. Mainly Transmogs and Mounts from reputation vendors.

This is subscription money that they might otherwise not make, when a player has reached the pinnacle of their end game, has already or is not interested in alternate characters, and wants something to continue working towards until the next content patch.

I wouldn’t be against it myself, as I need TONS of anima, but I just don’t see them making adjustments to the time it takes to actually achieve them, as that’s purely money in the bank for them.

But yet how many players look at that grind and go “nah I’m good” who might have otherwise dipped their toes in and made a run at it, if it were made more reasonable?

Pretty sure it’s a pretty significant amount of players who would be tempted to do Shadowlands content if the grind were reduced by a significant margin. But they go there and see how many weeks they’d have to slave away, not once but four times and go “nah” and don’t even give it a second look.

I know, that’s where I’m at.

I wouldn’t mind going after some of the pets, mounts, and mogs… but…

No Effing Thanks.

Way too grindy.

Therefore, they’re getting exactly 0 /played time out of me with Shadowlands content. They could, however get way more if they’d just reduce the grind some.

That is very possible, and hopefully Blizzard does consider it.
Because as a completionist myself, the overall anima cost to complete all of Shadowlands transmogs/mounts/pets/toys/other is absolutely astounding.

Agree. I recently grinded anima for the bastion transmog from the path of ascension, was such a drag. I went on alts and did the lfr quickly, world bosses etc and sent the anima over to my main. Its tedious but another option. You can buy 1k anima things and send it over to your main.

First they need to make it so SotFO’s anima is affected by the achievements that increase the anima you get from all sources.

Because getting 3x35 per boss with the final 3 giving 5x35 each compared to CN and SoD which give up to 6x35 per boss with the final two giving up to 8x35 each is kinda silly.

where does the 2200 come from? I just did sepulcher on normal and only got like 3x35 from each boss, am i missing something?

I’m not farming Anima anymore, but if I was, the change I’d want is being able to deposit it from anywhere, or even having it auto-deposit into your sanctum’s reservoir.
