I activated the Anima Conductor and chose “special treasure” at Purity’s Pinnacle. All activating the conductor did was make all the enemies there hostile, killing me and no treasure anywhere. Is this intended or a bug?

Yeah man I am having the same problem. Have you heard anything about a fix or what to do?
Same issue here. No new treasure shows up on the map after setting the anima conductor to Purity’s Pinnacle. Even relogged. Wowhead does show a location for where the treasure should normally be but I haven’t gone to that location yet.
Anyone able to figure this out? I don’t see anything on my map either, and can’t find it when I go there.
Edit: Ok so it doesn’t show up on the map but if you go to the location listed on wowhead, the puzzle is there /way 60.24 78.29
use the Burden of Penitence object outside of this treasure room, dodge blue circles, walk to treasure, open treasure, done

I did this and it worked fine. I would still like to get this fixed ASAP though.

this feature is complicated enough to understand alone, but without this map indication, you just having no idea what happening, is I did something wrong, etc
This is super confusing, its not out across the bridge. Its a separate temple to the south, you have to get a buff inside the temple on a clikcy thing then get to the treasure out behind the temple. Youtube video on it doesn’t explain well but at least shows you where it is.

The chest behind the temple is a separate thing (with the bell buff). You can get that anytime. There’s no treasure anywhere on map after activating the Anima Conductor for Purity’s Pinnacle.
Edit: Like Naralune says, hit that waypoint. Kind of annoying that they put a regular chest + puzzle in the exact spot that the anima conductor fires on your map, yet the one you’re looking for is further south.
Finally figured it out thanks people, but wow… 10 anima…

I see the bell thing but can’t click on it?
It’s not showing on the map, that’s the bug and they should fix it.
But you can still do the thing.
At about 59, 77 there will be two rooms and an entrance to the chest in the middle. Go to the left room in front of the entrance to the treasure and ring the bell to start the Burden of Penitence.
Once you start, you will have to go to the treasure without getting hit by the blueish things on the floor. That’s it.
So I’m having a similar issue. I unlocked my anima conductor and have it to purity’s pinnacle. The ability to click on the bell isn’t there for me still. So I’m unable to click the bell to get the debuff to open the chest. Is there something else I have to do to make the bell visa me/usable?
There are two bells that I’ve found, they are on opposite sides of the building where the little challenge takes place, and I guess they are randomly assigned each day. You should be able to see the active bell marked on your minimap.
Is that it though? I did that but got no rep which I get for the anima chest in Night Fae.
It’s easy, click the Bell, then run to the treasure between both rooms outside against the cliff. Treasure is on outside terrace.
I just did the reinforcement on this anima conductor ability, I’ve been to the platform 3 times and the bell you click to start the RP isn’t there. Ive done it for the last 10 days straight and now I cannot see the event trigger ;(
Any ideas?
I am having this same issue. I did it once fine, and every day I go down there - with anima directed to the location. Neither bell is active and there is no chest. I have put in multiple bug reports with Blizzard. It makes me sad to see this has been going on for over two months.
