Angleseeker bait

So I’ve tried using various bait… it says in the tooltip that it guarantees you can fish up the fish in any pool. This is seriously false. I also noticed it says it stacks to 50. Again, results were consistently bad and I gave up as soon as I found an angleseeker pool. Today it was the angleseeker but I’ve had this issue with other bait as well.

This isn’t the only bait that hasn’t worked as advertised.

My fisher has max fishing, a nice hat, +58 perception on the rod, etc.

Like you, I have seen less than claimed results from every TWW fishing bait. So much so, that I stopped using them well before 11.1.2. My own experience, for what it is worth, the only bait worth using is Whispering Squirmworm (sold by Phylleus in City of Threads, Azj-Kahet) in conjunction with Ghoulfish Delight, even then, the fishing RNG is fickle even when fishing from pools.
