That would be my guess. He didn’t immediately fill the role of his father as the confident and powerful ruler of the humans. Instead, we watched him grow up with a lot of self-doubt and personal development as he figured out who he was.
Because he warps the other leaders into being idiots and being Christie Golden’s writer’s pet. I’m tired of humans getting the spot light on everything alliance.

Anduin is my favorite character. He’s had the most growth, but I hate what happened to him in shadowlands. And it’s always people whining that he’s too soft and stuff. Its exactly why I think they did what they did to him. I’m hoping to see his return, and I’m hoping he turns into what Arthas could have if he had not listened to his demons.

Nope didn’t say that at all. I think alliance has been so poorly written since post WOTLK, I don’t bother watching cinematic/dialogue from them.

Anduin is probably the most uninteresting and weakest character in the entire game. Whiny and completely predictable in every action, he’s incredibly boring and one dimensional.

No. Not at all. It’s based on their relationship because Anduin is one of the few (maybe the only, besides Wraithion) main characters who have grown from child to adult over the last 20 years of WoW.

Anduin is a king, he will be replaced with a council like the Horde Warchief. Current devs are triggered and offended by any form fascism or patriarchy, even in a virtual fantasy world of make believe.
Especially, if it’s a white male.

The point to kings getting married is to secure the royal succession and seeing how Sylvanas is kinda dead and unable to create royal successors that really won’t work. Best she can hope for is to be the concubine. Of the currently existing characters Tess would be the best candidate as any kids they have will be heir to both Stormwind and Gilneas effectively uniting both kingdoms under a single banner. Or they could do the thing where one kid gets one kingdom and another one gets the other.

I hope they leave him there. They had basically a blank slate with him back in Mists, and they made him one of the worst characters in the game. Honestly I’m not even convinced the team can make good characters anymore.
I’d certainly have enough sense to sacrifice my personal feelings and put up a front for my peoples sake. He isnt a person anymore hes the king.
He should just go drink it away and have fun with stormwinds finest *****.
This writing is just another way for the weirdos writing modern wow to take a dump on a young white man in a position of great importance by emasculinating his character.

Honestly. In the lore he’s just been intentionally absent for like 6 years. He shouldn’t even be welcomed back at that point. Give someone else the throne already.
