Yes two guys can easily be friends and not lovers, we see it often in WOW. The difference is that Blizzard writers keep adding romantic tension between these two. This latest cut-scene literally having one of the Classic Bad Boy tropes. Which basically puts Wrathion with a bunch of Male Leads in a bunch of films, and the Slap across the cheek by his Future/Past lover is always a part of “I deserved that”, which puts Anduin clearly in offended lover position.

Well Warcraft is always a little more aggressive, so of coarse Anduin is going to Punch not slap, however the scene still plays out the same as it would normally with this trope.

Wrathion knocked Anduin out and freed Garrosh. Which lead to Gul’dan and the Legion

If you are referring to “fujoshi” basically it’s a term for Fan Girls of BL manga and Anime. fujoshi means spoiled girl, but it’s used to refer to the fandom.

Me too! I thought the effect of Wrathion’s wound looking like a burn was really cool. Not sure it’s because he’s a dragon or because Anduin secretly put some holy fire into that punch… but it was a good stylistic choice regardless.
