Anduin has Shalamayne?

How? In the battle cinematic Saurfang has the weapon split with one blade held in each hand. Then he is hit by the magic(?) and he is on the ground and there is no sign of the blades. As the camera pans back from above you can see around Saurfang for a decent distance and the blades are gone!

But then in the funeral cinematic Anduin has Shalamayne on his back. So how did he get it? At first I was like “YES” Sylvanas took them with her when she went all Death Eater and left but nope the Marysue keeps his stolen weapon.

How do you figure a weapon he inherited from his dead father is stolen?

His father gave it to him after Arthas raised him.

Force of the explosion just knocked them away from Saurfang. Anduin just had to find where they landed and put them together again.

If there are any Mary Sues, it’s Sylvanas and her loyal pet, Nathanos.

My Dad brought home pizza for dinner because I was hungry and he gave me some slices.

I was arrested for theft the very next day.

Wait the balst caused no physical damage to any of Saurfangs gear but was somehow able to force two heavy metal swords over 15’ (Estimate) from Saurfangs body? Not buying it.

You don’t have to buy it, it’s fiction.

When would she have had the time to do that? The cinematic showed her flying straight up into the sky. She didn’t even fly close to Saurfang when she escaped or the ground.

She walked forward and as she transformed she was right by Saurfang’s body. As for how she would do it, I have no idea, but she seems to have all kinds of new powers that noone can explain. So it seemed at least possible that she had the blades.

But the solid banshee flinging around death rays is believable.

Please learn what a Mary Sue is. Because Anduin isn’t anywhere near one. Just because you dislike a character doesn’t mean they’re a Mary Sue.

And the blades getting knocked away and Anduin picking them up didn’t make it into the cinematic. God forbid! :scream:

And the weapon wasn’t stolen. Read here: https://wow.gamepedia.com/Shalamayne

Then explain the huge dust cloud that happened when Saurfang got hit. He may not have any external injures from the attack but it still caused a physical reaction to the environment. Not a stretch to surmise the blades were knocked out of Saurfang’s hands.

No… sylvanas is the opposite of the mary sue… she is the Snidley Whiplash, tie damsels to railroad tracks, twirl the mustache and laugh, type.

Shalamayne is forged from two ancient ELVEN blades, not human. At no time did an Elven leader convey the blades to Varian as his personal property, that makes them stolen.

Did you see her bend over to pick anything up? Because I saw her transforming as she walked and fly off.

Can you please provide us with a definition of “Mary Sue”?

Wait, your not buying that part but the fact that sylvanas turns into smoke INCLUDING ALL HER GEAR? You seem to have some pretty interesting holes in your thought process.

That’s my point, she can transform solid objects into smoke and fly away. Why she can do any of this stuff is unknown, but hey NPC’s can do all kinds of things PC’s can’t so it seemed plausible.
