Just finished the quest where they escape the cave. This is my new Ship tbh. hahaha. I think it would be perfect if she helps him find his connection to the light again and they fall in love in the process. My character is also a decendant of the Arathi and I’d love the 2 kingdoms to be joined in this way.

The only ship that is logical and realistic is Anduin x Tess. The crowns of Stormwind and Gilneas will be united through marriage, and their son will one day rule the two kingdoms from one throne.
TWW supports this ship by having Tess and Anduin bond in the timeskip and Tess telling Anduin about the Uncrowned’s location.

I am holding out hope for a healthy platonic friendship between Anduin and Faerin and Faerin finds herself in a sapphic relationship. I would love to see more sapphics pop up in the story.

I get so tired of any positive relationship Anduin has with… any female being proof he surely will be getting with her. Can’t a guy just… have friends? Le sigh.
I am not even sure if Anduin will take back up the throne at this point anyways. He might just formally abdicate. That would likely give them a lot more plot room for Stormwind as Anduin sucks up all the oxygen as the great peacemaker.

Do you think he might even give up the light too? It was a thought I had when Faerin commented on “passing the torch”. Like Anduin comes to the realization that it is better to let Faerin be the light.
I really hope that isnt the case. Id much rather have him return to being a priest, but there was something odd about the line that I could almost see it being the “twist”.
I think he is trying too hard to connect to the light right now. He made it part of his identity, and he needs to reintegrate that part of himself into who he is now. The light responds to conviction. Right now, he just… does not have it, because he sees himself as unworthy.
But he is getting there.

Yeah, that was my initial thought and hope. Anduin has it backward. The Light hasn’t left him, he’s “left” the light because he feels unworthy. The Light is still there just waiting for him to return.

He’s already abdicated without notice. But he might walk that back.
I understand why people want this but I personally don’t. We already have just an insane amount of Priest leaders, I really would rather we don’t get another.

I think he should just be a Paladin at this stage honestly. He’s already an effective warrior with the sword now, throwing back some light his way should just finish him up as a Paladin.
