And the award for the worst farm in the game goes to

…Empyrium seam rank 3.

  • No flying.
  • Huge environmental obstacles necessitating constant detours.
  • Have to dismount often due to caves.
  • Legion profession equipment that allows mounted mining does not work on Argus, so have to dismount to mine anyway.
  • Must traverse the entire zone repeatedly due to the fact that seam nodes are spread out across the entire zone.
  • Extreme low drop rate even after mining over 1000 empyrium.
  • Must get within 15-20 yards of a seam spawn point before the seam will even spawn.

Can you name a worse farm? I’ll wait.

isn’t the syndicate rep farm supposed to be the worst grind in the game?

it’s like 1 rep per ravenholt guard kill?

Khorium Ore

Four hours spent traveling the mountains, the lakes and thru every cave in Nagrand, Outland, Tuesday morning and only six pieces to show for it.

I gave up and bought the amount I needed off the AH for an obscene price. First time I ever did that but it was worth it.

Freaking Anima :expressionless:. So many cool cosmetics locked behind humongous amounts of anima when it’s sooo scarce.

Not by the end of shadowlands. Spend an hour in ZM. You’ll be swimming in anima.

I’m going to say Anima Touched Weapon Fragments.

Horribly low chance to appear when Chordy digs. And Chordy is rather adventurous with the terrain. You need 750 of them. I got to the end of the expansion with 124.

I saw this somewhere else and it’s not really that true, I tried it already. You may farm 2k anima (if you’re lucky enough) per hour and only in WM On because the rares (this yield the most anima) die in less than 10 seconds having WM Off.

Oh my god, the memory of doing weird little laps on top of the seat of the primus just came flooding back.

I still need Felslate seam rank 3. It is the only one I need left from Legion.

The worst part about it is that you cannot get to exalted anyway. So why even bother?

because the little voice in your head tells you you must see the numbers go up, even if it’s futile.
