And now...Tyrande is too strong

Oh no I agree. Just still enjoy her as a character would be kind of sad to lose that is all.

I assume that’s part of why people are defending sylvanas so vigilantly; they like the character and don’t want to lose that.

I really don’t like Sylvanas, never have, but I like the way they’re moving the horde towards something more primal and savage… but we’re probably going to end up with Thrall’s horde 3.0

Characters like Tyrande, Malfurion. and Velen are suppose to sail west to some sort of Isle of Avalon for a later possible story/plot. It’s the whole older and younger races thingy.

(funny they are all Alliance)

They gave Lor’themar a new model, make way for Elf Geralt as new leader!

I’ll take it :stuck_out_tongue: hell, I’ll take just about anyone but Saurfang, even Baine is better imo

Yeah. Just saying, you see people try to defend her like a goddess. Personally think that Blizz will give her something to make her not look like the biggest villain on the face of Azeroth (probably realizing she messed up big time or some bigger plan dilema), but I do also think blizz should have left her dead on icecrown. Her story ended there and the extension don’t paint her well.

They always give alliance I win buttons.

Since he stared at her, shocked, when she gave the order to torch Teldrassil I got this feeling that maybe something would happen to make him turn against her. After the Darkshore horde questing you learn that the Valkyr that was killed was one of Sylvanas’ personal ones… He may turn against her as an act of self-preservation if she is so angry she lashes out at him…

I dunno, guy seems quite blindly loyal to Sylvanas.

And if he did he’d be a traitor to the horde just like Saurfang

She will not stay with way forever, but if you watched your people/homeland become annihilated would you not seek any power possible? I would feel enraged and enraged usually comes as 1: do not feel pain unless so significant you’re maimed or 2: you feel like you have insane amounts of power from rage.

Arthas did whatever he could in his power to protect his people and took up frostmourne which corrupted him. But as soon as he took frostmourne he was almost indestructible.

It is fair to critcize it, it is a story told episodic through a period of 2 years where there is long downtime between each episode. It is hard and unreasonable to tell people to hold of their judgements for that long.

It’s like saying we shouldn’t review new tv shows based on 3 episodes and should wait until the whole season is complete to review it.

We know how Arthas turned out… it’s really not much different though, what tyrande us doing, she’s being selfish, trying to control power that may be beyond her, and power that has unknown consequences. She’s abandoned the alliance during a time of extreme need for her own selfish reasons, and it’ll probably backfire

I’m just glad Malfurion is acting like he has a pair for once.

While there are mirror parallels remember, Elune is the big good of WoW and unlike Frostmourne which was a weapon forged by Nathrazim who are arguably the evilest race in WoW second only to Eredar. She won’t allow her High Priestess to fall.

Or maybe she will since she didn’t care enough to prevent Sira or Delaryn from turning.

Who says it’s actually elune who gave her the power? Black eyes could easily be void

Wouldn’t be the first time a prayer was answered by something different than what was prayed to

This event was supposed to have taken place once before. I would imagine if it had been the void the night elves would have passed that information along.

Pretty sure it’s Elune, it’s suppose to represent the Darkest phase of the moon.

Also remember, Dark is not evil. Nor is Light good, power is determined by how you use it.

Elune herself is an enigma, but off-times and somehow related to the Naaru and the Light. If this is true, then it means she also can have a void aspect to her that can be awoken, meaning it is possible the dark aspect is some void-laced concept.
