Do you care to elaborate on how exactly it’s bugged? Not applying to weapons? Applying but not proccing?

I just used it and it appears to work fine. Do you really think “rogues can’t have nice things…?” though my guy? If it’s not working at all, its a bug as you say. You make it seem like these are intentional slights against people who play the class. The level of mental gymnastics going on just to be apart of an oppressed group is quite bizarre.

It applies, but phasing into instances, dying, or really anything that changes the player’s active state *can cause it to stop functioning.

You have to reapply it after every wipe to get anything out of it.

And it also only procs on main-hand use apparently.

Yeah, not sure why that’s an issue for others. I’ve been applying it without issue for almost 2 hours. But it’s bugged in a lot of ways, basically not usable.

Same issue. Since weekly reset today, cannot apply it to weapon because of “too high level”.

Everytime i applied it it never worked anyway. Stopped using it last week and now need to spend 1k a piece for weapon stuff. Took me about a week after i first started applying the wax to even see it do damage. Meters always have 1 or 2 hits at most.

Reports of it being main hand only seem to be false. Other reports seem to cooberate that they function most likely off a PPM system where mh or mh+oh yields similar to exactly same proc rates, giving people the impression it doesn’t work on oh, but it most certainly does if you test it on OH alone.

I can use it on a dagger that is 606 (hand does not matter). If I try to put it on my 619 dagger it says to high. Is the Wax Ilvl locked lol?

I was able to apply it up until the point I upgraded my main-hand to 616 today. Even the 616 off-hand was allowing application, but now it won’t allow it with both of them being 616. So I assume 613 or 616 is the cut-off for the application.

Why you would introduce a class-specific weapon oil and then just make it unusable is absolutely beyond me, but at this point, I’m tired of questioning Blizzard on stuff this expansion. So many wild and ridiculous choices in less than a month.

Edit: Equipping a 561 main-hand from PVP allowed me to apply it to the main hand, but the off hand still errors out. So I believe 616 is where the hard cut-off for application is. Wild.
