on average before Tuesday they were giving 600+ and the dragon racing was giving 500 per satchel. Now only 109 and 100. Why nerf by that much specially with a expansion still going on. Like I get after TWW launches nerf old stuff

Because dragonflight is over, you can get more gold in war within stuff
i think they did this in sl before dragonflight launched also
I still think it’s a bug, since SL world quests give like 260g.

From what I’ve been hearing SL world quests give more than DF world quests now as far as gold is concerned. Which is super weird.

It’s not really weird that they were nerfed, it’s just weird that they were nerfed before TWW even launched. We can’t exactly ‘move on’ to TWW content when it isn’t even available yet.

Stuff that hits the more casual playerbase tends to attract new users to the forums each time it happens. I don’t think they’re alts, just folks who haven’t been playing for very long and finally got affected by a nerf that was aimed at the content they engage with the most.

Been a while, but I think SL’s WQs were never nerfed, since the bulk of gold from that expansion came from the daily/paragon caches and the Command Table, which got nerfed instead.
For all intents and purposes, the servers are in TWW mode now. It doesn’t matter that you can’t access it yet.
because - as is the way with blizzard - they don’t want you to play older content. they want you to play what’s new. it’s their way of forcing you into newer content, rather than just letting you enjoy older content you’ve purchased.
it sucks, but it’s the way they work. otherwise folks would probably be sitting in their garrisons farming money-bags at their salvage yards, or doing legion content for emissary stuff, or bfa content, or shadowlands callings- you get the idea.
heck, if it were up to me, they’d only cut the gold-amount down by half. not 1/6th, half.
It is over… You can’t grind your m+ title anymore, the vault is dead, balancing is off cause we are now balanced at 80

For ME it will be over when I can get to TWW. For ME DF is still here, I am still in Valdrakken.

Actually, M+ and awakened raids are both still available this week, as is progress towards the vault. Next week though is when the vault will be closed, and presumably S4 stuff along with it.

Have to pump up those token sell numbers somehow. Start by severely limiting the amount of gold you can acquire in game.

Everyone’s mistake is using the gold token as your subscription. Hate Blizzard for the gatekeeping and whatnot but spend more time grinding gold to keep your sub up.
All of these things are active until next Tuesday.
You can still do M+ and get Vault. Next Tuesday, not yesterday, is the last DF vault.
So no, DF is not over.

That is something they are intentionally preventing.
Why are you doing vault when you should have been doing so BEFORE pre patch? Why even bother when pre patch gear is sufficient enough for the average joe till launch?
Your time runner alt you can grind in less than 3-4 hours will have max gear 3 days before launch
The main reason to do m+ is to get your title… that’s over.
