Ancient Teachings should be an always-active passive talent

In TWW, Jadefire Stomp has a 15 second cooldown, meaning you can maintain 100% uptime on Ancient Teachings without getting a reset or Chi Burst shenanigans.

Might as well make it always active and cut out the middle man, especially since AT requires Jadefire Stomp in the current alpha tree.

There are certain “hoops” in the game that just don’t need to be there. This is one of them. If were going to have 100% uptime, if the intent of plan is that you want 100% uptime, than blizz, like you said, should just give it outright.

This is like paladin seals and blessing (which thankfully) used to be 30-60 sec and was eventually made 1 hour and later scrapped because the hoops serve no purpose than to create artificial difficulty.

This is like with atonement healing and the “hoop” of marking targets with the buff so we can actually heal them instead of just being 3-5 people baseline splitting the heal amount.

This is like affliction warlock having to get every dot up just to MG them to deal damage because without all the dots/hoops you suffer a loss in damage (unstable affliction as the splendor never had this issue).

Vivify has this issue being linked to renewing mist. There was a time that it just straight up healed 3 people and was a balanced cleave heal. None of this balancing between 2 and 8 RM targets for balance reasons that makes the spell weak on one end and broken with talents and buffs on the other.

Artificially putting hoops for players to jump through to make the game/play-style harder does not make it fun.

Agreed, and for the sake of lifting those up in similar situations afield, they should also do the same for Priests Atonement.

How boring…

While we’re at it, casted healing should auto target the players with lowest hp too. And overhealing should bounce to other players as well.

MoP healing, when Blizzard had to make mechanics kill you every 3 seconds to keep up with healers.

At the very least, it should be a resource bar as part of the AI. It’s too important of an mechanic to need a weakaura to track effectively.
