So im trying to do the math here and it seems Rising sun kick is healing for less then intended with this legend power? My RSK hits for 4976 if you are saying its 250% of that damage shouldn’t the heal be around 12,000? i see it only healing for 7.2 k ish is my meter wrong? or is it not healing for the correct amount?
I even took fall damage, went to 12k hp, hit RSK and should have healed to 24k and only went to about 20,500 ish heal. Anyone got more insight to this?

well 4976 damage before mitigation from enemy/boss armor right? it heals 250% of the damage DONE right? not the damage on the tool tip… i wish it was before reduction personally cause i love that legendary it makes fistweaver such a fun way to play the spec (except for the pre essence font which is abit of a buzz kill)
I mainly rolled monk this expac cuz my M+ team needed a tank but watching streamers like Mysticallx has really pushed me to try MW. I loved glimmer healing last expansion because I love to be able to DPS while healing. Fistweaving just looks so much fun!
Im looking at logs and i cant understand how most of fistweaving healing is Essence Font/RjW and hots??? Im waiting on an offhand to drop, and a few more soul ash for ATotM before i can go and test the healing myself, but it cant be that simple can it?

You’re standing in melee which has a lot of cleave this xpac so your RJW is picking up all that healing on you and other melee. Plus the tank is picking up on your spot heals.
Essence font being high is two factors: 1) you are getting the heal off a great times allowing it to mostly heal instead of overheal. (Kudos!) 2) Rising Mists RSK is extending the hot. This is also true for your EvM and RM hots.
I would like to point out that if you’re casing Essence Font for the full duration, you don’t have to. The buff comes in for the 15 seconds after EF ends. Something to keep in mind if you want to get a kick in sooner than later.

You used to be able to use it on WW spec because it would just trigger with out essence font
Would be pretty lol to hit a 13k RSK and just instantly top of someone haha
they should just limit it to MW spec and take the essence font thing away… it really hurts the flow of the legendary
Also it sets up a situation where it could rob the Mistweaver of an aoe cd when it’s actually needed as opposed to just maintaining a buff.
