After 17 weeks the legendary dropped last week. I got everything but the last three raid drops. Got them tonight, went to teach a BS the memory and… the Ancient Memories is gone.
I have opened a ticket, but it says 4 days. I have precious little time to use this weapon, and this bug is a real bummer.
I do not feel confident enough dropping the quest to see if I would get a new item.

I had just made a ticket because mine went the same way and became an invisable/questionmark bugged item in my bag, im still farming mats since it dropped 2 days before patch for me! if there’s an item in same bag i cant see any items in it nor the ancient memories and even reinstalling didn’t work, afraid to abandon quest incase i cant restart/resume it
I am also having the same issue. I can not see any items in the bag the Ancient Memories was in. I tried swapping bags around and what that does it duplicate the bag I can see the items in. Hah. Odd and annoying glitch.
Last time I logged into my evoker this morning it now doesn’t show two of my bags’ items. I don’t know what’s going on but I hope they fix it soon. All my other character bags are fine. It’s probably the Ancient Memories issue making my bags all wonky.
Also to Wauren, I did abandon the quest and try picking it up again. Nothing happened.
Thanks for the info! I figured later that would be the case because new drops are having the same issue.
Maybe a blue will up the level by 10 for all of this emotional pain hahahaha
My evoker is having the same issue. Item appears as a question mark in her bags and quest log and get the error item not found when used. Seen a few “triumphant roars” from other evokers finishing their legendary since my issue started. Anyone figure out how to fix it or do i need to submit a ticket and wait?
Just had the same issue today. Logged in to continue farming mats and noticed that my Ancient Memories item in my bag is now just a Question mark and does nothing. Submitted a ticket and a bug report… hoping for a nice turnaround…

I got a response from my ticket and it told me to check out the forums and wowhead and whatever automated service sent that to me marked my ticket as answered. Very frustrating.
Interestingly I logged in after reset and the item was working again for the first time since the last reset, but after doing regular daily activities it was broken again.
