If you are solo then you deserve the wait. Get a group. Makes it much easier.

Seems to me 8 minutes is plenty of time to wait for others to come and create a group.
If there were no players, then something tells me OP would be one of the first ones sprinting to the forums to complain about how difficult a mob is to kill by themselves cause nobody plays.
I’m extremely antisocial in the game, but still manage to join a group long enough to get a kill on a mob.
Sacrifices must be made if you want to get anywhere in the game.
Really anything they do is going to be stupid trying to use 2004 era design 20 years later.

I just spent an hour hunting the defias messenger and then had to play “who can click the fastest” for the defias traitor quest …
It’s all part of the game.
Not claiming it doesn’t suck, but I am saying people should swallow their pride a bit and group up with others to enhance their chances at completing quests such as this particular one.
