Analog Stick AND mouse at the same time?

Is there anyway to get the mouse fully working while using an analog joystick for character movement?

I recently bought a gamepad that has 360 analog control. Moving the PC in wow with the analog stick feels great!

But I cannot move the camera with my mouse or click anything while I use the analog joystick for moving. I know that the mouse is moving (highlight still works).

I can turn my joystick to normal keyboard movement (and have the mouse work fine) but it has no 360 movement, feels quite clunky and has a lot of deadzone.

Any solutions?

Dont think this is possible as when the joystick is in use it kinda becomes the cursor and windows can only have one cursor at a time, no way to create a true second cursor.

Oh… but the cursor still exists while I’m using the analog joystick. The cursor is invisible but I have a cursor trail addon so I can see it move and I can move it around perfectly, I just cant click.

In my best New York accent I got your analog stick right here

Well when you hold down both mouse buttons to move, you can still see the mouse cursor move around, but you can’t click (since you are holding the buttons down). Maybe the only way the 360 stick can work for movement is to emulate moving the mouse while holding both mouse buttons.

The reason the cursor is moving is due to the joystick input. The joysticks intern become the mouse which is why you cant use a mouse as well.

I have 3 screens and one of them being a drawing screen. Same with your joystick and mouse I can either use my drawing pen or mouse individually.

Years ago I had a pad and bound the stick to the movement keys in keybinds. Like forward to forward, left/right to left/right, and diagonal to strafe left/right. Maybe that could work?

But the analog stick isn’t moving the mouse- at all. it just prevents me from clicking.

I guess I am not understanding. I can use the analog joystick and mouse simultaneously (one to move character and one to move the cursor) I just can’t click. The joystick does not move the cursor, only my mouse moves the cursor.

It’s like wow disables the cursor clicking when it detects the analog is in use. I just want to turn this off… I think it would work fine otherwise.

If I use two screens its the same thing. On wow I can use the analog joystick to move my character, and can move my mouse across the screens without issue. I just cannot click. As soon as I do it stops the joystick movement on wow (which is normal because I am deselecting the wow window).

Yes I can bind the stick to the movement keys and have the mouse clicks work just fine, but the movement is terrible compared to 360 movement.

What I’m saying is by moving the stick, you are “holding both mouse buttons.” That would move your character and prevent you from clicking your mouse.
