Hey, with the expansion delayed now and the cases in the US rising, thereās actually a chance I could get covid and die before the expansion.

Since youāre posting on a low level alt Iām assuming you are a troll. But Iāll bite, what you want doesnāt matter. If you took time off for this this than that poor decision is on you, not Blizzard. Iām assuming most here are fully functional adults and you should all know that a game can be delayed at the snap of someoneās fingers. Cyberpunk 2077 has seen multiple delays this year alone. You will live and life will go on.
This is good to see. But also, I hope Blizzard realises we donāt need so. many. systems.
Itās too hard to manage and balance. And even worse for new players.
Hoping for the best no less.
Good job on making the tough call. Software development is messy, and nobody like to see a highly anticipated product incur a delay. But even worse is releasing an unfinished update that actively makes things worse.
The pre-patch will provide plenty to do. Iām sure the Blizzard team is entering the Mother of All Crunches, but remember to take time to rest and recharge. Tired developers write sloppy code. Overworked testers miss important bugs and deviations.

Blizzard, thank you very much for delaying. The player base knew that the expansion was not ready.
Youāve really gained my respect delaying this and also announcing the pre-patch date. There is plenty to do in the pre-patch with the new revamped leveling.
Please take your time and polish SL up so it can realize the potential we all know it has.

Itās not a poor decision to take off on a date that blizzard hasnāt ever missed.
They have never delayed an expansion after a hard date has been announced, they just shouldnāt have announced the date.
you assume id be leveling when the switched is flippedā¦ i might be leveling when everyone is asleep ( assuming i took leave ) and there is not a cluster f#$k of ppl in a zone fighting over mobs making it laggy as hell ( which we know happens now and I for one would not enjoy that after finishing 10hrs of work that day ). After testing Beta there are going to be a few of those places as its a linear direction now.
And after playing this game for 15yrs, they can polish all they want, its still gonna be broken.

Can you change the name of āStarfireā back to something thatās actually moon-themed so it fits the kind of spell it is? Lunar Strike, Lunarflare, Lunarpew, idc, just not āStarfireā. Itās not a star spell. Itās a small thing, but it goes miles I think.
i would like it to be delayed, until it is working and balanced. So good move blizz, not so good for players taking time off work.

Note to self: Never preorder, and never sub for more than one month from now on.
I donāt mind that they changed the date to have more time to make a good game: I do mind that itās subscription based and I paid a subscription to a game that now has no release date.
If I could justā¦ get a refund for the days between the 27th to the new release date? Because Iām pretty much done here. Iām not getting what I paid for after all.

Except for Legion and Battle for Azeroth, and I think thatās a good thing. āJust cause historyā isnāt a good reason. It may be a pet peeve, but too bad.

Thank god. Everything I was seeing from streams and friends in beta was showing an october launch would be a cluster. And I have enough clusters in my life right now. Take all the time you need blizzard, just knock it out of the park when you do launch it.
