Best to delay, get it right or as close to it as possible. With tech stuff, it always seems to be full of hair and bugs.

yes… come home from work and get stuck questing with everyone else that has come home from work also, just to be delayed in areas where bottle necks are!!! The reason ppl take time off, myself included is to get in front of the ppl that are coming home from work and avoid the clog.
Good. There were expansions that had been rushed and nobody wants that. Especially in this weird year, with all the constraints on people’s working conditions, I think this is the right move.

You guys should consider sending out WAY more BETA’s than you ever have before. This will help make sure everything is nailed down and maybe even tide a little of the unrest. There are TONS of people that want to, and could help on beta, we just need to get on.
That’s where the issue lies.
I dont think anyone thats actually been keeping up with SL is angry about the delay, they’re angry that they waited until the last second to make the announcement when people have their PTO on wax now.
Imagine having your PTO wasted when you could of instead took PTO for CyberPunk? I’d be big mad too.

I don’t understand how you can suddenly decide that the endgame is so messed up that you have to delay a release date that you only recently announced?
I am not mad about you releasing the game “when it’s ready”. I am mad about you announcing a release date with an apparently-unfinished endgame. Everything a max-level player does (how long it takes, what the reward is, how often they can do it; all that good balance stuff) should have been figured out months ago.
Shame on you.
Nice job. Now you have time to make a real pvp stat So we are not FORCED to PVE. Verse only ensures we have to.

I’ve seen people who waited til just last week, at the minimum amount of time they could take to book off before they couldn’t book anymore.
They literally should have said something in the last week or two.
I’m pro-delay BUT I do wish you’d announced this a few months ago, since I resubbed for 3 months only to have an active account during SL. This part is not cool and I will definitely only sub on a per-monthly basis from now on.
Pro delay people be loud and proud.
This is very good if you want the expansion to succeed. 
It isn’t as simple as just fire up your computer at home and you’re good to go.
What they do takes specialized programs that they may not have had on their home machines. So they’d have to get their work computers home, or maybe the work computers couldn’t be taken home so all the information had to be transferred to their home computers, or they had to be networked into the work computers to remote access everything. Then there’s setting up the networking for brainstorming, troubleshooting, and just working as a team. Plus it’s harder to work as a team when you’re not together but having to teleconference.
So yeah covid is more than likely to blame for them being behind.

Both BFA and Legion had rough launches…lets not shoot that as the mendoza line for the new expansion.
The new expansion needs to be better than legion and BFA at launch. 
I already posted this in the forums, but I’d 100% rather wait MONTHS for a GREAT EXPANSION than get some rushed garbage. Glad you guys are holding off, just hope it’s for a good reason! You guys need to listen to the feedback about some really bad system/design choices and really consider this covenant system. Last couple expansions have been TERRIBLE in terms of forcing people into bad power systems that gimp casuals and stress out high end players.
I wouldn’t, I enjoy SL as it is NOW and I want it NOW not in nov or early dec.
BFA was rushed by 1-2 months and shouldn’t have released in that state.
