Listen, Stop trying to demand that everyone be perfect. The game is a project and projects have to shift timelines sometimes.
This is great news, Blizz. Delays suck, but quality is way more important.
Yeah, but come on⌠In the decade or so of playing this game, why would anyone schedule time off on patch day? There are always wrinkles to iron out. Better to schedule it a week or two in, otherwise youâll be right back here on the forums complaining about how you took time off and now the game is down.

You couldnât even give the new release date in this post? Iâm sorry, but thatâs ridiculous. By all means polish the game and ensure quality, but you have fans who took leave from work to participate in the expansion launch. You owe us a date we can suggest to our employers to change our leave time.

Puzzling how so many could be happy when they just screwed all of us. The game is already near dead due to launch and now weâre supposed to pay for what another 30-60 days of a dead game that you said would launch. Agree to freeze sub and give a month free for the loss to all that choose it and then Iâll believe your trying to do the right thing.

As many others in thread have stated Polish away! I am disappointed but I am ok with them having transparency and coming forth to share with us. I am ok with the new date and I am thankful we have a prepatch. Idc how long we are in it, just glad to be done with BFA. Take all the time you need Blizzard. 
I will say one thing, communication has certainly been better for Shadowlands than it was for BFA. Blue posts were a rare sight on the BFA test forums. I expected to see a lot of the same problems BFA had pop up in Shadowlands especially once I actually got on the Beta.
I kinda hope that communication continues to improve and maybe with a delay weâll see even more interaction from the team with the players/testers.
Probably wishful thinking, but hereâs hoping anyway. It really looks like the team does want to improve on things, and itâs more obvious now that they are accepting the feedback given.

well they will be miliking one month of every ones Monty pay, since wow is death this days no one wants to do anything since everything was suppose to rest in a few weeks.
Good stuff, Just know the Customers though bothered by a delay, will always prefer a delay to make the product shine, than a rushed mess that takes even longer to fix. Props to you guys.

Yes, I want new content as soon as humanly possible. Yes, Iâm sick to death of Nyalotha. But I donât want half-baked Shadowlands, I want Blizzard Quality Shadowlands. Do it right.

First week is the most fun week of the expansion though
Thanks, Blizzard. I know all of you have been working hard, and trying to get this out in time. I imagine the pressure from the forums wanting the expansion out NOW was not helping any.
Covid is still a problem and I hope it will go away soon! But you all deserve some kudos for trying to do the best under the circumstances.
The whiners complaining about getting a refund because of timing, Get a life. This game is not made to be your entire existence. Use the time off to spend with family, do something productive and stop complaining over something they obviously were struggling with. The game is not meant to be played over the course of a few days and then done. It will be there for you when it is ready.

I can say that I didnât get my alpha invite from a streamer.
I can also say that the endgame is currently really lacking and everyone who is in the alpha/beta can confirm that it just isnât ready. There are holes in the system and if it releases as it is weâll end up with BFA 2.0 which no one wants.
Delays happen, look at Cyberpunk 2077. Also, to clarify, I am also an adult who works a full-time job. I still am thrilled Blizzard is delaying the release and hope they take as much time as they need, even if that pushes the expansion to the very end of the year.

Iâve been playing for this entire season attempting to get my first r1 push.
I planned a vacation for next week based on the pre patch date and the season ending soon note given last monday.
I donât mind that you are delaying Slands i dont care at all. But people playing for r1 have been spent countless hours these last few weeks trying to get to a cr that will get r1.
Please be consistent with your season ending soon warning and let the season end this Tuesday the 6th.
